  1. Redownloading that much on a connection like mine is out of the question xD Thanks for the help. My concern wasn't whether I could resume the torrent but whether it's going to add on top of the storage it had already used up or preallocated, since it's weird the other drive didn't do the same, but this is not as serious of an issue as I thought so it's not worth keeping this topic open. Anyway thanks for the help guys.
  2. Thanks for replying, and sorry for taking long to respond, life got in the way.. Both are NTFS, but I don't know about cluster sizes, and yes my content does consist of many small files as well since there are thousands of photos and documents (and numerous node_modules folders) in addition to large files. Update: I just tried the software you mentioned and I noticed this: The Anime folder has a 200GB difference between Size and Allocated. I have a few (large) unfinished torrents in that location, is that why? Do you know if copying in its current state would affect the torrent progress? I plan on making the Seagate one my primary and leave this for backup (it was significantly faster on random reads from my experience) so I was planning to change the drive letter after copying all the files and resume downloading as normal, do you have any idea if a torrent would be affected by this by mistakenly ignoring the allocated 200GB or is my 200GB safe from being redundant after the downloads finish?
  3. Hey guys, had this account for years but never actually visited the forums much, but I need some help salvaging 200GB of storage being held hostage, and I figured there are a lot of experts on here. I'm using a Dell G15 gaming laptop with Windows 10, and due to the limiting 512GB M.2 it has on it, I bought an external HDD, except I bought two, one for backup. They're both 4TB drives, one was from Toshiba, the other from Seagate. I was already storing a lot of files and games on the Toshiba drive, 2.58 TB of files, while the Seagate one was empty and I was going to keep it as backup. I tried to copy all the files manually, but in doing so found out that the Seagate drive was using 200GB more data... how and why? I don't know. Does anyone have a clue? Is it a problem with my windows? Is it the file explorer transfer method? (and what other methods can I try? I was thinking of cloning - good or bad idea?) Some drivers issues associated with the USB or storage devices? What am I missing? I tried to look online for help but most solutions didn't seem to fit my problem. Some said it could be using MBR instead of GPT (which was not the case), other threads I found on stackexchange forums referred to cases involving server storage and tools that I don't even use. Also, I noticed that when it's 'calculating' when I first initiate the transfer, it takes a lot of time until it gets to 2.58TB, waits a few seconds, then jumps to 2.78 TB. Something is clearly wrong here, it's seeing 200GB out of thin air or something. Both drives are brand new. One is 1 month old the other is a week old. Thank you, I appreciate any help or nudge in the right direction.
  4. I haven't checked in a while but about 6 months ago (when I last played it) I was struggling to find servers with enough players in EU. Most of which were TDM with 48/64 players or something crazy like that. I rarely found classic conquest gamemode servers with enough players. I got it when it was free btw, and only got about 300 hours in before I started getting bored (and at the same time servers started disappearing). I wouldn't recommend buying a dying game especially not with the new one right around the corner. Well, only if you find a copy at $5 or something, it might be worth it at that price. At sales it often gets to 10 euro on Origin, you might want to get it then if you feel you can dispense of 10 euro.
  5. I honestly feel this debate is a bit silly as it may possibly be just an issue of accepting a word instead of accepting games as a competitive outlet. The word sport does indeed refer to exerting physical activity, and that doesn't apply to videogames obviously where you sit in a chair and move a mouse and press buttons on a keyboard, since that's not the competitive aspect of it. So I think people who are against accepting Esports as a sports should just get over it, because it's almost silly to argue over semantics imo. I don't think there's any other way to refer to Esports other than the current name that has 'sports' in it. It's become a widely used word and it would be incredibly hard to change its usage just because some people find it hard to accept.
  6. I would love to have the Excalibur V2 mechanical keyboard because I simply have no good keyboard for my gaming needs It has always been a neglected luxury in all of my setups because I can't usually afford the extra money for one. While my mouse is pretty old (MX518) it still works perfectly and does what it needs to do for my gaming experience, so the keyboard is more preferable for me.
  7. This is just amazing. Superb job man. Especially the floppy SD reader, that was clever.
  8. I used to like the CZ but its low kill reward makes it very unappealing on pistol rounds. I used to use it to camp B site while/if terrorists rush and kill one or two then grab their pistols. Doesn't work when they decide to go A though. I have it in my loadout instead of the Five-seven though because I don't like the Five-seven's inaccuracy and low damage.
  9. That's why I never use the deagle. Almost useless for most players after the nerf. P250 in pistol rounds is best choice. You're more likely to get headshots with it if you're bad like me.
  10. I want an SSD because I'm tired of my 5400 RPM HDDs failing. I had two fail on me the past 6 months and I could really use an SSD for OS and important files storage.
  11. I'd like the Kova. Haven't heard of Roccat before but that Kova seems just what I need as an upgrade from my MX518 that I've been using for 7 years now, also it looks badass. Thanks Roccat and LTT for the giveaway opportunity, you guys are awesome.
  12. My first try. Comprehensible text is easy to copy. I only have trouble beating the 95 WPM mark when it's incomprehensible text that has no meaning.
  13. Because I wanna take apart that little beast! ...and at the same time I want to use it as a replacement for my laptop/desktop duo. I wish I could have this and just plug it to monitors in college instead of dealing with a relatively fragile and heavier laptop. That kind of power in that small size, who wouldn't want this?
