Always the way with sponsored videos nowadays. Sucks but I guess he's got the pay the bills so can't piss his sponsors off too much lol.

Sorry, but I don't know how to answer your question but considering the place that I go to when I want a drink, what you propose is definitely better than the situation they have. Good luck, appears to be a real good idea.

If you're still hitting 90C, pretty much regardless of what cooler you're using, then you messed up on mounting the cooler. And since you have a big ol' NH-D15 on there, you really fucked up mounting it.

Thanks for the information, I just wanted to point out that ordering it off of steam doesn't make sense as they charge like $8 shipping. My local Gamestop did not have it in stock but they ordered it for me for the $4.99 and free shipping.

It's bad on wifi. Wouldn't even stream 1600x900 at 60fps for me, it had stuttering and lag issues, even with the router in the same room as the pc & steam link. Use wired and it'll be fine.

Also should say that this deal IS available at game stop stores that have them in stock:

it does suggest to use an Ethernet cable & the comments aren't that great on WiFi but it's $5 and you could just use a Power line Adapter.

Yeah steam link honestly isn't that great. I have one and it needs work. Bluetooth doesn't even support controllers that connect, like it doesn't forward the input to pc half the time and it's useless unless you use wifi. Literally disconnected 5 times during a movie when the router and the pc were in the same room.

jwh_ reacted to picklesyo in Fradulent cards on wish app
Hello all, new to the forum, first post here. Just noticed something fishy on the wish app I've been using a lot lately. I have been seeing tons of "GTX 960"s on there, for between $35-50 plus shipping from china. Immediate red-flag. Looking at the specs, Im not sure if they somehow can change the name, GPU ID and Vram amount displayed, or if its just simple photoshop but it is definitely not a gtx960, my best guess is a GTS 450 due to clock speeds. Just a little heads up, I plan on ordering one anyways to see exactly what it actually is for myself since they are so cheap anyways. also they are selling "GTX 1050ti"s for around $60, but dont post any gpu-z info so I have no clue what those really are

Uh, it's not gonna show up in a screenshot...
Go to windows clear text and adjust the settings, or check your monitor settings and tweak stuff a bit.

I'd say just keep the 1060 3gb, would run games at higher fps but i mean its still a major upgrade from a 7870.
also good luck finding any rx 480 or 580's, literally $300+ if you find them in stock and usually they aren't, everyone is buying them for mining...

1 addictional PCI-Express pcie8-pin power connector is needed.
It literally says it.
There isn't a 8 pin power connector on the PSU, get a better one.

jwh_ reacted to Catsrules in Help Needed | 5.1 Surround Sound
This was the device that all of the speakers plugged into correct?
Then jwh_ is correct you will need a new receiver/amplifier.
The problem isn't the connections is the power. The 3.5mm jack has no where near enough power to drive any of those speakers. You need the receiver to amplify the signal and power the speakers.

jwh_ got a reaction from Catsrules in Help Needed | 5.1 Surround Sound
If it's two bare wires, (usually red & black), you need a 5.1 receiver, such as this: https://www.amazon.com/Channel-Bluetooth-Digital-Amplifier-Display/dp/B07477F2TL/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1510199048&sr=1-4&keywords=5.1+receiver
Then you have to plug in the sound & stuff to the receiver from your motherboard, but I don't have the same connectors as you, I have an optical audio port which is 5.1, so i just use that.
