  1. the problem is pretty straight foreword, whenever I try to launch HWINFO64 it freezes at this exact point: I've tried reinstalling it, installing an older version, using a portable version and I even reinstalled the SATA controller drivers (I read that it might solve the problem on the HWINFO forum). can someone please help me!!
