Lenovo Y720 - 7700HQ+1060 6GB, may need repaste
Lenovo Y520 - 7700HQ+1060MQ 6GB, slightly worse build quality than Y720
These are better than Helios 300 especially cooling. Note that all of them have entry level IPS

PUBG is more intensive/unoptimized. A 1060 is more ideal and you'll appreciate it later.

Haha, you can barely source Ryzen APU systems outside of the US at the moment. Let alone a place where this dude can only get 2017 model laptops.
100% the Helios. The extra power given to you by the 1060 allows for higher FPS in all the titles you listed, and it's worth the extra money. Plus you get an extra 1TB of storage. Can't argue tbh.

spoder-man reacted to spartan_chaz in Asus Zephyrus - Should I pull the trigger?
I have had my Zephyrus since December. And in all honesty, i love the thing. Many people complain about the 1080 not be a full 1080 and i fully agree with them! But, i have mine as my on the go laptop since i tend to travel for work alot. It plays anything i can throw at it rather well and, the main reason i bought it, its very light to carry around. Hell, i end up keeping it in my work bag with my work laptop and i have no complaints!
I agree with the buy whatever you can afford. If you need a powerful and light laptop right now then i would go ahead and pull the trigger. But, if the appeal of the new coffee lake CPUs coming to the mobile world appeals to you and what you will be doing with the laptop then hold tight. Either way i dont think you are making a wrong choice...in my opinion of course!

I definitely agree with that. You can still upgrade the GPU later if it's external, and a six-core will probably get you far.

at this point if u have that much money, wait for a long battery life hexa core coffee lake with tb3 and go for that. egpu seems to be far more stable now. i have slowly phased out my beasts for convenience.

Price - like Linus always say, get the best you can for the budget you have that meet your needs, if this is it, then go for it.
Storage - AAA titles I would estimate somewhere between 5-10 games, but should not be too difficult putting your Steam library on an external SSD when the time comes and you run out.
Design - well Im pretty sure you wont find any other that looks like this
A wise choice and smart investment? Well, kind of sounds like you already made up your mind and it is a balling machine, just don't expect it to be the top of the line for very long (like a year or so)

That top usb cable would do it's thing, the bottom one is for an iPod. I dont think Android supports usb microphones/headsets.

280X Vapor-X. Also conisder buying used, you can get a 290 or 290X.

The best performing card out of all of those is the 280X. It may not be the most current, but best performance for sure.

well that's where things like the 100R (~$50) come in.
but the case is by far the longest term investment you can make in a PC it's the part that is least likely to break. so it's nice to make it a good one.
and flicking through PCpartpicker, almost every sub-$40 case just looks butt ugly.

there are 300$ cases too - the s340 is as cheap as you should go if you don't want significant compromises

you get what you pay for
if you want no thumb screws, plastic construction, no painted inside, non-rounded edges (the list goes on)..... then go for it, spend your 10 bucks

there are decent budget minded cases out there from corsair and fractal, go check them out

Nice, I just only recently upgraded to a new motherboard, i5-4690k, second GTX 960, and a new PSU.

spoder-man reacted to don_svetlio in is Corsair CX500M good enough for overclocking a G3258
Enermax are iffy - SeaSonic are good across the board - they won't fail you or if they do they fail alone and don't kill components. I'd choose the M12II over the Enermax gold personally.

620 for more watts, or 520 for nicer cable management. Your choice.
