  1. Thank you all for your suggestions. I'll try and take a more accurate picture and post it. It's frustrating that consumer-grade monitors seem like the weak-link in a setup and have such poor consistency across the range, particularly when their cost can be quite high.
  2. This is a picture of the widescreen Dell monitor I bought recently. The bleed seems slightly less bad with the naked eye, and the screen is fine with most light backgrounds, but it can be visible in the corners when playing Elite Dangerous. Is this an acceptable level of light-bleed in terms of it being within normal specifications? I have 1 week to return the screen.
  3. Thank you, all. It's been a while since I've had a gaming PC, so your advice has been really useful.
  4. It's been a while since I've used a Windows system, but I've just had a new gaming PC delivered. It has a Asus STRIX 980 ti card and Windows 10 Pro installed. Currently, it has the standard Nvidia drivers installed and the GeForce Experience software. Is it better to have the Asus drivers and management software installed for this card? What are the benefits of either approach? Thank you for any assistance.
