Hey guys, I recently installed a drive with an older version of Windows 10 in my system to get some files off of. I forgot to remove the drive and accessed my PC's BIOS today to check my settings, as you do. Something goes wrong and the PC refuses to boot, so I remove the CMOS battery to reset. I launch my PC, but for some reason it boots the old drive instead of my SSD and changes the drive letters of my original boot drive and itself. This is where I am stuck. I have removed the old drive and tried to set the boot order back to what it was. However, my SSD doesn't show up in the boot order. I've tried changing settings in the BIOS (like UEFI, Legacy and CSM), but to no avail. But I can force the BIOS to boot my SSD in the save changes menu. When I do this everything works properly and it seems to relabel all drives correctly. I have no idea what is going on, help would really be appreciated. If you need screenshots or anything, I will try and supply them. Cheers

May buy a cheap-ish 1440p monitor and just wanted to know if my strix 1060 could run games at 60fps (maybe with medium settings??) thanks!

but why do you need to warm them up? the warmer a conductor is the higher the resistance so therefore the worse the performance. So I would really like to have my pc running at -10000ºC

ok, i understand. He's just on a very small budget and ik performance wont be great. He just wants a boost in performance from his 2012 macbook (he cant game at all as you know). Yeah I know that, its just my friend wants a laptop as he physically doesnt have the space for a desktop and would rather a laptop so he could take it places. I have been looking around, I was just wondering if anyone had a decent deal.

So yesterday I put my pc on sleep for the night and unplugged my mic (blue snowball ice) because the light is annoying. I got up this morning and went on Fl Studio 12 and realised that the sound was completely messed up (my amp/dac is the FiiO Olympus E10K) so i installed the drivers for it, but still no fix. Then I started messing around with fl studio settings and stuff (it told me that my USB didnt have enough resources or something). Then I had a brain wave and plugged my mic back in and it worked fine (the audio) no hitches or anything... Someone please explain this to me... I have no idea...

Its weird though because I just tried my front audio jack and it works without any sound at all?

I'm pretty new to the whole audio thing, but really into music production and want to improve my audio in any way possible. I own a pair of AudioTechnica M50Xs (if you wanted to know) and my current internal sound card (on my motherboard) is the Realtek ACL1150. Also I do get some static noise from the motherboard headphone jack. Thanks

Not sure where u got the info the headphones were uncomfortable, but I dont find them too bad if you wear them fully on both ears. I bought the headphones about a year ago and think they were a great investment (got them on sale like 20% off). I game a bit on my pc (I am saving for a GPU that I will get at christmas), but the games I play arent very intensive: Civ V, KSP, Gmod ect...

I am thinking of upgrading my single display (a really crappy 1080p TV bought in 2010) to two 1080p monitors (probably around 20-24"). What want to know is: will my i7-6700k's integrated graphics be able to run these without and dips in performance?
