Well, Windows thinks I should update now. I heard the file deletion bug was fixed, but I don't have a backup right now. Think I should risk it?

    No, why would you risk it?  What could possibly be worth that?

    I'm pretty sure I have Windows iterative backups on. But I have no idea how to use it. 

     

    My Mac is backed up to hell but my PC is basically a walking time bomb

    No risk it, no biscuit. I've already backed up all my files to my NAS but yes, definitely make sure you're backing your stuff up.
