Finally got around to restoring my foxes quarter windows before and after. ignore the leftover tent. not cleaned the window yet lol



 

yea wanted to try my hand restoring some decent ish windows... ford decided it was a GREAT idea to have that window molding be part of the window and not replaceable... so you either get to choose repop windows that dont have the mustang on them or $1000 each new old stock ones.

May look crusty on the outside however everything is BRAND NEW and there isnt a spec of rust anywhere on this car. paint to come after manual swap. also super pissed my brand new headlights yellowed in 6 months....

Restored some pedals in prep for the manual swap
 

After a year of waiting on good old RONA... months waiting for a motor, more months waiting on people to twiddle thumbs stang FINALLY started. and ran.... about 100 yards before trans decided to nuke everything but 2nd gear because SOMEONE FUCKIN FORGOT TO PROPERLY ADJUST THE AOD TV CABLE AND TOP THE TRANS FLUID FOR THE $700 TORQUE CONVERTER...... so its back in the shop again. this time for a manual swap. secretly wanted it but dammit didnt want another 2 to 3k more spent.
 
Had to dig this out of storage and get it rebuilt.

Engine swap comin along nicely. Still workin on wiring and things like AC. Couple more pics in spoiler below to not spam. Also Rims came out lookin NICE.

still needed some wiring done as well as a ton of tidying up and ac installed and a ton of smalls
only used items in all of engine bay is the bake booster/ res, alternator and ac compressor. literately everything else is new
same goes for under the car as well actually. full new exhaust, all new front end and suspension. waiting on a few things and getting the motor done before doing the suspension tho

And with this my year long mustang project will run monday. WOOOO cant wait to hear it start for the first time

In typical That_Random_Guy fashion. i got a damaged hood in the mail 
$700..... the camera really doesnt do that first pic justice.... that dent is literately a 1ft x 2ft coving most of the cowl... on the bright side the mustang should run monday. ™️

welp... half if my tires came in today lol..... rims are still stuck in texass and have been for a week now. one day ill have a good experience with shipping but seems like every other order i make has some issue in shipping.... not even lying. its only feb and ive had at least 6 misplaced shipments since jan. Getting kind of old.

so after atk engines sayin nothing but stalling for months and jegs like they didnt give us any info on this motor so if id like we can refund im like ok well let me hear back from atk... like hours later i get a call about a freight dropoff. im like what???
so whats crazy is i asked last week and then a couple days ago if i could get info on it. nothing.... thank god i was home cause they literatley just called and in 10 mins i had it in front of me
