A picture of your thermal paste spread on the GPU die may be indicative, since it is a direct die contact you usually benefit from going a bit overboard with the thermal paste. I prefer to either spread it manually for thick compounds like kryonaut, or a generous X and + in the old EKWB manual style. Provided your compound is non-conductive there is little disadvantage of too much paste for GPU waterblock except for wasting the compound itself.

Here are a few pics of my successful installations of GPU waterblocks.

    Kryonaut, pre-mount

So, what you did here is fairly risky and I'll explain why.

AiOs typically mixing copper and aluminum to reduce cost.
Normally this is a big no-no, but they can get away with it and make it work because they have absolute control over the fluid inside.
There will be anti-corrosives and biocides in the AiO designed to give it a long life. Long enough that you'll likely run into pump failure before real corrosion damage.

I'd personally recommend using something like EK CryoFuel (just add distilled water) if you want to extend the life of your AiO.
Like I said, you can get it in different colors and it's not expensive at all. A single bottle of that will be more than enough.
    http://www.performance-pcs.com/watercooling-fluids-additives/shopby/fluid-type--concentrate/
Take a look at these prices. It's not worth cheaping out here.
Using use distilled water alone means that there won't be anti-corrosives to hold back long term damage.
I honestly don't know the time frames. It'll happen slowly and subtly over time so it might be 6 to 12 months before you really notice a problem.
And by then, once you open it up, you'll find yourself with a lot of cleaning to do.

So, I'd say, as soon as you have a chance to replace the fluid, get that done.
Better sooner than later because I have my doubts that you'll be able to easily do a full disassembly of the block.

before everybody flips out YES I DO KNOW that i could have bought a 1070 for the cost of this graphics card set up. so with that out of the way i bought a evga gtx 1060 6gb acx when they where released. it dose everything i wont it to and then some but its loud and hot. i was hitting 80c with 100% fan speed witch is way to hot for me. so after some looking around i found that the 970 fe pcb and the 1060 fe pcb looked vary close to the same. so i ordered a corsair hg10 970 and a h80i v2. the hg10 970 fit with no mods to it or the gpu. the h80iv2 worked but instead of the supplied thumb screws i used a cpu standoff to hold it down. would go with an aio with the h60 style pump on it. so now under load i hit a max of 50c with fan speeds between 1200-1300 rpm.

Play a high end game, e.g crysis 3 or witcher 3. If your CPU usage is at 100% while your gpu is not 99%, then you have a bottleneck.

and with all your mail in rebate things, i remember the hyper 212 evo to be about 29$? so all that added up should come close to what your original build had.

p.s. i dont live in america so i had to research a lot of the prices, so soz if im wrong, idk what mail in rebate is except the fact the price is cheaper.

Unfortunately I don't, I just quit the game. The only way is to go amd gpus. They work better with Tera. I had a 7850 and a e8400 CPU before I got more fps than I do now lmao

its probably the 4670k, they are notorious for bad cpus and non oc'able. my old 4670k had to get returned because it was so garbage, i couldnt get it 100mhz over boost clock without a bsod. just return it, its a bad chip

dont switch... jesus, its only 10 degrees and ur gonna lose performance and money. just leave your case side panel open and it will drop a few degrees... live with a free heater>spending hundreds more on a few degrees less. you could probably buy a fan to blow into it for cheaper tbh

Hi guys, im looking for some games that are like witcher 3 and crysis 3, high end graphics, high end gameplay. Singleplayer/multiplayer i dont mind, just not any scary or freaky games lol, main thing is really high end open world graphics, then gameplay. (prefer open world and/or can play co op with friends) can be buy to play or free. I love open world games the most, again nothing like zombie hardcore survival scary stuff, just not my type of game. more like rpg battlefield or crysis style

    Thanks for all suggestions
