  1. I am wondering if anyone know if this monitor is fully compatible with g-sync before I buy it , in my local store it is listed as g-sync compatible , however I could not find it the official nvidia list of g-sync compatible or anything online , I currently have a 75hz screen connected via display port and turning on g-sync enables adaptive refresh rate , however I have to have v-sync enabled to remove screen tearing which comes with significant input lag. So if anyone has any personal experience or know more about this it would be appreciated. Thanks
  2. I have done that 2 times allready. Its exactly the same.
  3. I did not on 9700k , my gf is currently using that one on her 4790k and temps are really good.
  4. Hey , I got this (see title) combo and I have been using it for a while. But I cant help to think that temps are a bit to high for an expensive cooler like this. so I wanted to ask you guys if something is wrong cuz I cant find reliable info online for the same cooler on the same cpu I have, anyway here are some temperature stats: My 9700k is at stock turbo , all core at 4.6Ghz and gaming temps are from 55c - 60c with average 30-40% cpu usage. Stress testing the cpu with aida at stock turbo temps go up to 72 c. I tried applying some auto overclocking via the bios (z390 aorus elite) with advanced profile all cores go up to 4.9 ghz and temps while gaming are around 68 c - 72 c Stress testing with this oc applied temps peaked at 91 c and contied to be around 85 c - 88 c I was running pretty agressive fan curve while I was testing this. Prior to noctua nh-u12a I had a coolermaster 212 evo for a short amount of time if I remember correctly the temps were not making me worried at all , around 55 c while gaming. One thing I remember that I should not leave out is when I first mounted the cooler I might have overtightened a screw and the screw head (part where screwdrivers goes) is worn out. With this I hope I didn't bend one of the mounting bars , I did check how the thermal paste was spread and both cpu and cooler surface looked even. (I am using noctuas thermal paste that came with the cooler) I also want to mention that I got plenty of case airflow in my fractal design case , unobstructed 3x 140mm intake (Noctua NF-P14s) and 2x 140mm exhaust (Fractal Design Dynamic X2) with my ambient room temperature being 18-22c Thank you in advance for any help on this.
  5. I am using all default settings , I never changed anything . So got my router, plugged it in , everything was working. And about the infrastructure , I dont know I never had any problems until now. Whenever I am not downloading anything and do a speedtest everyting is fine , as soon as I start the problem happens.
  6. I have z390 aorus elite , it does not have on board wi fi. It is happening om my gf's pc as well ! She has and older asus z97 motherboard , we both are running window 10 Pro
  7. thats the thing, I was getting speeds over 50 MBps before, my pc can handle it I have i7 9700k, 32gigs of ram , m.2 nvme ssd , and a sata ssd which I am to downloading games to. the other week I was downloading ghost recon breakpoint on uplay and my download peaked at 64 MBps
  8. Hey I recently started having problems with my internet connection, everything was working until last few days, my internet speed is 500 Mbps down and 500 Mbps up, but when I start downloading something like from steam , blizzard , uplay , origin or microsoft store I am not getting more than 7-10 MBps download speed and my ping goes over 100-150ms when pinging google via cmd ( I am using the command ''ping www.google.com -t'' ) and the rest of the bandwith goes down to 40-50 mbps while using speedest.net with ping over 100-150ms, which is quite unusable for me. If I turn off the download my results on speedtest.net are 1-2ms ping 500 Mbps download 500 mbps upload. I am connected via cat6 ethernet cable aprox 5 meters long from the router to the switch. I allready tried reseting my router multiple times , I reinstalled my motherboard drivers , I reseted the switch (which is rated for 10/100/1000mbps) that my and my girlfriends pc are connected through . I havent been changing any settings , everything is how it was before when it was working. I also want to mention that the problem is happening on my gf's pc which has very different hardware. I would appreciate some help with this cuz I cant seem to fix it.
  9. I checked the store and gigabyte website it seems that revision.2 z390 dont even exist, I am really unsure what to do.
  10. I cant say out of the blue , but this might help https://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator
  11. Hey 4 months ago or so I got GIGABYTE Z390 UD , i7-9700k and 2x8GB 3200mhz corsair ram, I noticed that motherboard was making a buzzing sound left of the cpu socket and around IO area at first whenever I moved the mouse I tought I was imaging things but few weeks ago that same pattern and buzzing started happening on my speakers and headphones as well if the speakers or headphones are connected in the back of the motherboard , if I plug it in at the front it doesnt happen , but the sound on the motherboard is still there ,now I went to RMA the board and they took it in , got replaced on the spot with new one of the same , and the problem was still there, I tried different cpu , psu and different power outlet in the house it was still happening, I brought back the new one and they took it in and I got a temporary replacment ( asus z390 prime-p) I am still getting the buzzing however it is barely audible with the case closed. At the store they told me that I can replace it with a different one and I am thinking about paying a bit extra and I have a few choices, the best choice would be Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Elite but since the problem I had was a gigabyte motherboard in the first place I do not know how wise would it be. Other option would be MSI MAG Z390 Tomahawk , but for the msi one I cannot find anywhere information about power phases or vrm. I wanted to ask the community here for the opinions , my budged would be 150$ that I allready paid + 50$ more to replace and upgrade! (ASUS ROG Strix Z390-H and ASUS z390 TUF-H are currently on sale for 200$, but I heard they are false advertising the power phases or vrm) Thank you!
  12. hey I recently got a i7 9700k and a z390 motherboard , I noticed that this motherboard has 12 eps pins , I currently have 1 cable connected with 8 pins, but I am not sure if I need to connect the other 4 also, my pc is working fine although I havent tried to overclock it , I also bought a Noctua U12A so I am thinking of overclocking it at least to 4.9 or maybe 5.0 all cores , the question is should I connect that 4 pin before I try to oc or not , My PSU is TX850M from corsair , its 850 W gold certified. thank you
