not a clue what that means

I have had this wifi card asus pce ac68 for about 2 years now and over the past month it has gone from 200mbps to around 14mbps and i don't know why. I reinstalled the most recent drivers which were from 2017 but nothing helped. I know it is just my router because a speed test on my phone is about 200mbps. anyone know why? I'm pretty sure it inst degradation because it has no moving parts but still, should i just get a new one?

using 560xt has all the drivers and anytime i try to control the gpu fan speed through the amd app it just resets like i never touched it

it is new so that would be it but i just dont like how its silent and then the fans just ramp up to such loud levels

I got the cpu to change through the bios but is there no way i can effect the fan curve of the GPU? I know i was able to on other cards through MSI afterburner

My GPu is idling around 50C and the fans only spike up after going to 50C i want to control this to be way less but i cant, MSI afterburner doesnt work for some reason. The CPU is doing this aswell and i dont know how to control cpu fan speed pls help

I was playing a game while having a tab of google chrome open, I had these open for about an hour or two and was doing absolutely nothing out of the ordinary when my pc BSOD. After that I got an error that was related to memory so I took out the 2 sticks I had and only put in one of them. When I put them in one at a time they both worked individually but when I put them together it BSOD again. I thought it must have been the Mobo then, but I test 2 sticks of different memory in the same slots as the last two and it worked perfectly. What makes no sense is I only get the BSOD when I put the 2 sticks together. any solutions?

it worked at 144hz for 2-3 months before this

When I built a new pc I attached it to the monitor with a dp cable and got this weird flickering and artifacting on 144hz and only 144 hz(120 works fine). This problem later fixed itself without me trying to fix it at all somehow. But then I got hit with a windows update last night and I wake up top find that this problem is happening again I dont think it is a faulty dp cable because it worked just fine for a solid 2-3 months before this update. Any fixes?

took your advice and i got past the intital hrutle and i am now encountering the problems of random freezes about 20 min into the pc being on, and an error called clock_watchdog_timeout the watchdog error is a bsod while the others are just freezes forcing me to restart

No I have had it for a year or two now

I disabled most things and it didn’t help it still freezes at the same time.

Which programs should I disable?

I just replace my old mobo, cpu, and ram and am now having a problem where my pc will freeze within 5 seconds after logging into windows. I can sit on the log in screen all day, or the bios, but as soon as i log in it freezes. Any fixes?

its about 3 years old but i really dont think that it is a power problem at all.

I can just be watching a YouTube video or something, and not doing anything intensive and the computer just restarts like if I pressed the restart button

Nope and the CPU doesn’t go above 50C at any time I don’t feel any heat sinks that have any sort of heat, but is it weird that it’s readings shoot up to 100C as soon as I turn the PC on?

Then is it possible for those readings to be forcing my pc to self restart itself and/or freeze when just Norway gets the internet? My phone just autocorrected browsing to Norway...

I just turned on my computer and it is already reading at 100 degrees C temps which seems almost impossible in a room that is around 70 degrees F

Hey guys my motherboard keeps restarting my pc because it keeps reaching near 100 Celsius. My old mobo did have this problem and it worked just fine, so is it possible that the mobo could be falsely reporting its temperatures? Or maybe because of a faulty board that I should get RMA’d?

I have two different types of crashes on this pc. One is that the monitor just freezes but the sound still plays. The other is when my monitor loses its input and goes black, and my peripherals also turn off, but the pc stays on. Both require hard restarts. What could be the problem?

I have an hdd that I have had for about 2 years or so and it has never given me problems, but a few hours ago i log on normally and open up steam which is on this specific drive and the drive freaks out. The drive spikes to 100% usage and stays there it also makes a weird noise that I have never heard before. I can use the other dive that I have on this rig completely fine but when I use this one, whenever I open up an application that is located on it, it freaks out like I have previously mentioned, the problem will only stop after i force close the application through task manager. If i turn off my computer after this problem occurs where windows starts up and says i have 10 seconds to press any key before the system will scan and repair the drive. Any solutions?
