yeah those might be worth the wait i just decided to pull the trigger ACER also have a new edition coming out but i think it's the same panel they only changed the case and now it will look like a gamery transformer ish plasti wierd thing IMHO i don't want that on my desk so i went with the current one which is indeed IPS and from the reviews a lot better than the swift which is TN and suffer from pixel inversion and bad viewing angle. Color reproduction and vieing angle is a lot better on IPS pannels obviously.
I'M pretty sure the IPS ''swift'' will use the same IPS panel as the Acer predator does anyways...but still it might be worth the wait the prices might come down a bit and it will maybe look better too...from the review the Acer case isnt that great but i'm fine with it...that' might be improved on the ips swift.

yes, your kit is perfectly fine it's one of the best performing CPU for gaming, you don't need anything better. What GPU do you have right now?

Your current setup is fine already, but I'd say i7-4790K (Z97) because it would be an upgrade for you.
But if you're planning for gaming then i5-4690K (Z97) is great but you've got 4670K so going to 4690K isn't worth it.

i5-6600K (but not worth the upgrade since you've got that 4670K) and i7-6700K are good as well but require DDR4 and Z170 Motherboard.

An i7-5960X would be the most powerful... But... Obviously no one is going to spend that much, so I'd go with an i5-4690K or an i7-4790K.

if u already have 4670k and a z97 mobo i think your good the top selling gaming cpu is 4690k which has no major advantages i think you should stick with what u got in terms of cpu and mobo and get a better gpu ... but if you are doing video editing and rendering i suggest u get the i7 4790k

As stated within the replies of that thread it does need work and improvements will be done as I have the time to do so. Of course it's not a 100% complete resource as to buying PSUs. I rarely actually use it, when people come on here asking for a good PSU for a certain build and/or price range, things are taken into consideration such as OP's needs, budget, location, and current prices on particular units (some may be on sale and a better buy than others). That list really just exists because it can. When people ask for PSU help in their own threads, specific recommendations are always given.

the i5 is fine for that setup. You really don't need to upgrade unless you don't mind spending extra money on an i7. Since you have the K and also a Z board, you can overclock as well.

Your i5 will be fine for now but if you are going to update, i would suggest updating to the newest socket.

You don't need an AX1200, an AX860 will do you perfectly fine. If anything, you could even go down to an EVGA G2 750W or an AX760 and be fine.

You've already gotten a fair bit of responses, but I thought I would drop in my two cents. Just to get this straight, the only Corsair PSUs worth avoiding are the CX series because the rated wattage is at 30C, which is lower than it's contemporaries. The RMs are also avoidable due to the use of subpar components in relation to the price and the VSes are so because they're old and not exactly very good.

Not only is that a hypocritical post, but that list is also not amazing as a whole.
