Yeah, the push pin mounting solution is really bad. I never re-seated a push pin cooler before, but it was a bit challenging to install nevertheless.

I have a TX3 on mounted on a i5 760 and it performs fairly well giving temps around 40-45 degrees celsius on idle. I think it doesn't suck. It's a good quite cooler to replace a stock cooler with nothing more.

I checked out the i3 before, but before I buy any parts I asked for advises and these two advises are perfect. I am probably going for the i3 rig, because im an intel fanboy lol. But I even had a bad past with AMD. Thanks for the replies guys! really made my day

So I need help with picking out cpu/motherboard/ram for a pc to my grandmother. She told me that she wanted a pc that is small, fast and reliable. For a small formfactor pc I instantly thought of a mITX motherboard and showed her some cases for it and she that the size of them were perfect. She won't play heavy games on it only browser games or solitaire at most and if she needs more I have a gt 620 that i salvaged from her last pc. Overclocking is not needed. What cpu/motherboard/ram do you guys recommend for a mITX build??
