  1. I hope you don't mind but I added your post to the OP for the sake of anybody viewing this thread for the first time.
  2. Like I said I don't think he's selling out, I actually really liked that WAN show BTW total biscuit is a great guest and contributes a lot of knowledge to the conversation.
  3. She told me that she can't see me on weekends ever because her parents are super strict despite her being in college, I guess I'll have to trust her on that. (anybody catch that reference?)
  4. you mean you don't see any reason NOT TO accept their money, right?
  5. So just to clarify, you'd have preferred he did not take them on as a sponsor. So you most closely align yourself with option 3 on the poll?
  6. Personally between AT&T and Comcast I'd prefer AT&T.
  7. Wow, that was fast. It only took 500 ruined threads to reach that conclusion.
  8. There seem to be more people that misunderstood option 3 so I changed it to I think Linus is selling out and will be prevented from speaking negatively towards AT&T products and services. WHY LINUS WHY?
  9. Sprint: One small step for man, one giant leap that never happened for mankind. and you typo'd I think you meant intervention convention.
  10. @Syntaxvgm It'd be so awesome if LTT had a different Telecom sponsoring them at CTIA for every video. Five is only infinitely less than unlimited, that's close enough.
  11. Actually you're starting an argument. DO NOT PERSECUTE ANYBODY FOR HAVING DIFFERENT VIEWS INSIDE OF THIS THREAD.
  12. That'd be "I think Linus is selling out because troll." The because troll part isn't meant as "because i'm trolling," but rather as a "because Linus is going to troll us."
  13. I just wanted to know how everyone else felt about LTT being sponsored by AT&T -a North American Telecom which Linus has commented negatively on several times- at CTIA -a group of telecoms. I mean usually Linus tried to pick somebody that A. Won't influence or appear to influence his opinion on products. B. A company or group that he is fine with being influenced by because he personally thinks highly of their products or services. However this time it is a company, which Linus has shown on multiple occasions, that he somewhat dislikes and that company is directly involved with what will be covered at the show. I'm more or less fine with it as I'd like to think Linus has built up a sort of ethos -credibility- with his community and that we need to trust that on some level he takes care to provide content that expresses his honest opinion or an honest overview of a product. In all likelihood AT&T reached out to @LinusTech to cover the show, and given the opportunity to cover tech Linus didn't want to turn the opportunity or the money down. Like I said above, I see no problem with this happening, I more or less trust Linus to produce content that expresses his (LTT's) thoughts on products and services which are covered by LTT. As long as he doesn't take a sponsorship which prevents him from publishing content that speaks negatively of AT&T or positively of their competitors, which I doubt he'd do, I'm fine with this kind of sponsorship. I know lol, sadly LTT never told me.

I only noticed that you left a reply when I checked virtual tunes reply.

  15. wut? At 26 years old he still won't let you spend your own money?
  16. Well it'll only be released at all if the original was successful, and if it was then a late release date won't matter. I mean this board targets enthusiasts who also want their pc to look great. The fact that it's late won't matter to enthusiasts, they'll just cough up more money, like enthusiasts always do. He said the same thing I did essentially, just phrased differently. He said "When Asus feels like it" vs "When Asus decides if it's worth their while and has enough improvements over the original." Also I did say that there are other motherboards that are blacked out in my other post
  17. @Amer Well the original Rampage IV was released around 2-3 years before the black edition. Asus now knows that there might be, or might not be - depending on the sales of the Black Edition -, a market for such a product. So if they do release it I'd expect it to happen in 1-2 years. That aside there are other all black motherboards. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130796 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813188161
  18. How long have you had your mouse? Like I said I've only had mine for a few months, I think I bought it in March, not entirely sure. Anyway the logo is still clear as the day I first got it. Are your hands often greasy/oily/sweaty? I would think that the more oily the mouse gets the faster any graphics printed onto the rubbery coating would rub off.
  19. @Firearm2112 WRONG. A major ally in this fictional war would be Mr.AX1500i, because when you go to war you need MOAR POWER.
  20. That'd be the logical cause of this problem but the cover/plug went in smoothly and I can't recall having to use any force to screw it in. Not really all that upset about this. On the one hand I expected more from this mouse, but on the other I understand that this defect is probably limited to quite a small number of mice.

My Corsair M65 that I bought when it went on sa…

I would under normal circumstances. Getting ready to move to a different address. Along with that I don't really notice a difference without the weight. So with how much of a hassle it'd be to RMA it right now I don't feel it's worth it. Maybe after I move I will, just so that I don't have to worry about the mouse having any further defects, but right now the issue isn't my top priority.
  22. Are you asking if I over-tightened the plugs or if I left them too loose? Can't tell by the phrasing. I don't recall using any force to tighten them when putting the weights back in, I just turned it with a screwdriver until the base of the cover/plug was secure and flush with the mouse base.
  23. I prefer heavier mice, but like I said in my last comment I don't notice the weight difference from removing the weights.
  24. Not really looking to fix it, the reason I never touched the weights was that individually they're too light to notice any difference IMO, even using it right now without the weight or cover on it I notice no difference in the mouse. I only notice some difference if I remove all of them and even then the difference isn't as significant as I'd like. I'm just somewhat disappointed that it broke, I mean my mice up until now have been cheap (<$10) mice and an OEM mouse from a gateway prebuilt pc that came with a much more satisfying weight, all my mice until now have lasted a minimum of 2 years before something went wrong. The gateway mouse lasted around 4-5 years, at which point the plastic molding for the right and left click that would make contact with the actually right and left click buttons broke off multiple times before I gave up on fixing it. And now I buy a mouse that prides itself on high quality construction and it can't last a single year.
