  1. ok. device manager now shows code 43 event viewer after a crash says something about missing nvlddmkm couldn't find in even manually(show hidden files checked). (keep in mind a already reinstalled drivers, even with proper DDU) i'll try to install different drivers and if that won't help, I am getting my moms hairdryer.
  2. no overclock, even tried to underclock the gpu as much as msi afterburner allows it. The game ran for about 10minutes just fine, but still crashed. i got it about a year ago, used. I only got it because the pretty good value (even if it was used for mining). But who would buy the strix for mining also the guy i bought it off seemd legit, had crusty redhat tshirt on and was pretty chill. But i guess I ran out of luck with this one.
  3. was running gtx1080 asus strix with my Be quiet! System Power 8 - 400W for a while now with no problems. Recently my pc started crashing with bluescreens or gpu artefacts (not just under load, but even watching youtube), but guaranteed crash after launching game. Is is possible that the psu cannot handle the load anymore, because its maybe aging slowly? (was fine for about a year). What I am trying to figure out is my gpu dead, or is it just not geting enough power. Thanks for any help!! intel 8600 non k 16gb ddr4 basic ssd basic hdd basic old laptop hdd 2fans

  5. ok so i DDU'd the drivers and installed fresh ones, no change. No error in device manager. I tried to underclock: power limit 50% core clock -400 memory clock -502 fan speed 60% (i would rather have 50% of the gpu power than the integrated intel one, i never used the full potential of the 1080 and would be fine with running at 50% or even less for couple of month before getting a new card) after that i launched apex in 1080p lowest setting and it didnt crash for about 8minutes (before it wouldnt last even 2minutes) after about 8 minutes a turned up the settings and it crashed again One other thing is that the whole computer crashes, its not just that the image goes out, but i cant do anything after (ctrl alt delete, alt f4, alt tab)
  6. Ok so i uninstalled the nvidia drivers and reinstalled new one, but didn't do DDU because i cant login to windows in safe mode. I¨ll try it again before giving up.
  7. Hello, couple of weeks ago i started having problems with my computer. It would start to stutter and after about 10-20seconds either BSOD (VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR) would show up, or just black screen or random artefacts on screen. After hard reset everything would be okay. This happened just from watching youtube etc, not even gaming. Couple days ago I tried to play some Apex, but my pc would crash in the lobby or shortly after. I included some pics of what the artefacts look like. Other thing was that the fans wouldnt turn on, but even if i turn them on manually same thing happens. Also tried to open the gpu and looked for any damage, none found, repasted but without success. Also if someone can read something out of the cpu, gpu usage, because it looks pretty weird to me I tried to: change hdmi cable repaste look for any damage different hdmi port turn fans on manually different pci-e slot Is it worth to try: ??? buy display-port cable oven bake underclock it a lot I don't have any warranty and it looks like Asus doesn't have any service for gpu's in eu Thanks guys for ANY help!
  8. I really liked the Computex 2013 coverage and since then, I am watching almost every video even if I am not interested in reviewed product. I thing that linestechtips is the best tech channel on youtube! of course behind MKBHD and i really like spaghetti.
  9. My favorite thing is that design, I really like that grey color and shape on the phone!
