Corsair Scimitar RGB - Actually just upgraded from my 2012 Razer Naga, both are wonderful, but then again I'm an MMO gamer so them side buttons are key.

I take it the H110i changed it? Mine is situated on the side and goes straight up through the 8pin cut out.

My i5 6600K is ocd to 4.6 and my CPU stays at 29 degrees at idle, I dont remember what the stress test brought it up to but it was still extremely cool with my H110i - not to mention the fans are quiet-ish, not silent but still barely audible with my side panel closed. -
^So much win. <3

What's wrong with re-reading the thread up till that point 20x over? I rather enjoy it ^.^ -
So there's a few things you need to consider before undertaking this, running cables through existing drywall can sometimes be more hassle than it's worth, You also have to take into account building codes, if you're going through floors you have to make sure it's up to code with firestop, ect, also the hassle of running into insulation (sometimes it's in odd places, including but not limited to around pipes, exhaust vents)

Hot swap bays would have been a good thing to mention before lol. -

Can you see it in your BIOS? -
In all reality, radiator position doesn't really affect much, aside from aesthetics. My outlook has always been, put it where it fits. The "slightly" warmer ambient temps inside the chassis if you're putting it in the front as an intake should impact performance minimally/ if at all. As for which way to mount the fans, it depends on if you want it to exhaust or intake, most fans now-a-days come with a small diagram on the side showing which way the fins rotate and which way its pushing air. **Edit Also, just make sure you have proper ventilation on the front panel if you decide to place the rad there.

Just wondering about this list??
derick90 replied to kingofSuicide's topic in New Builds and Planning
Nice thing about pcpartpicker.com is it has a compatibility filter on the site, so it basically takes the guess work out of it as well. If only it existed when i started building.. would have saved so much headache. -
Thanks, I tinkered with the cable management a bit so it looks slightly different now, but better (imho)

So after months of planning, and countless parts changing, it's done. Finally... Anywho... Parts list is in my signature. Only thing left is my NZXT Hue+ And the Mobo is black, flash gives it a brown tinge due to the traces. **Edited for better interior pic.

Plugged in headphones, computer shut down. Now it will not post...
derick90 replied to Alpha11's topic in Troubleshooting
Assuming your front audio connector to the mobo was plugged in correctly, sounds like something happened to your motherboard. But i would try a few more troubleshooting steps before jumping to that conclusion, do you have another case or even just a front audio to connect up to the motherboard and try to see if it's that? Or, have you tried just unplugging your front audio from the motherboard itself and attempt a post? **(sorry about all the questions, just want to make sure i have the full story)- 4 replies

This may sound like an obvious question, but have you unplugged the headphones and retried, or tried a different pair of headphones? Also, is it from onboard audio, or from a sound card?- 4 replies

I'm definitely not disappointed in my 980, but it all depends on your res and budget to be honest.

Doesn't hurt to try, If you never put yourself out there, you'll suffer from the "what if's" later in life when you're doing a job you hate. Weigh the pros and cons of the question, what are they going to say... No?

Exactly what i was thinking, I personally believe that a product review should include how it's packaged, can really say a lot about a company in my honest opinion.

So I've been watching LMG videos for a couple years now, and i just have one very resounding question... There used to be quite a few "Unboxing" videos uploaded, as of late (mostly since the move) there really haven't been any.. Where did they go?? =[ Those were the videos that drew me to the channel. Now, I am aware that companies progress and evolve, but those are the roots of LMG, and it just seems a darn shame that they've taken a back burner to networking and server vids (although Linus has already expressed his feelings on that topic, lol.) Am I alone in thinking this or has anyone else noticed this trend? Also... I miss the rants about product packaging..
