  1. i imagine you could take a piece of acrylic put your logo on it in tape so that only the logo is covered then hit it with some spray paint and take the tape off and the only part that’s still clear would be were the tape was for a cheap alternative? Not everyone has a laser like us =p
  2. so what are the chances you want to let these cad files go so i can make my own =p
  3. thats a In Win H-Frame Mini Aluminum Mini-ITX Computer Case as some one already stated cool case good luck finding one thats a sweet build tho =]
  4. from what I’ve read most people say it’s a lost cause then a few say it works so it’s hard to tell what’s what I’ve had nothing but trouble with the damn thing since i got it and I’d be happy if i could just get it to run properly with windows 8.1 i can’t even get that to work right and they make it next to impossible to reformat the damn thing it’s been one problem after another and then they discontinued it lol.... ugh
  5. hey i currently have a razer edge pro that’s collecting dust because i hate windows 8.1 does anyone else have one and have you successfully upgraded to windows 10 without any problems? and before i get trolled off the forum YES I TRIED TO GOOGLE IT! and i didn’t find any solid answers and razer sucks ass and stopped supporting the system awhile back so they are next to useless for information.
  6. same harddrive on amazon for way cheaper http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-2-5-Inch-Internal-MZ-75E500B-AM/dp/B00OBRE5UE/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1442896088&sr=8-2&keywords=evo+850 96$
  7. i just did a similar new build and ran into that exact problem not enough room for 2 980TIs and a Intel 750 im using a Sabertooth Z97 Mark S... although my cards are thicker and not water cooled. my current idea is to use a http://www.amazon.com/PCI-E-Express-Extender-Flexible-Extension/dp/B008BZBFTG to move the Intel 750 to somewhere of my choosing that would look cool i guess? still a work in progress but it will solve my space problem

  9. like W-L said your PSU will ground your case preventing any dangerous levels of static from building up
  10. id consider using acrylic with some 3d printed parts check out this guys crazy custom xbox one and PS 4 for a example its a must watch regaurdless hes a modding master https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdKmiKKNv44
  11. well whats practical varies from person to person so go nah say somewere else =]
  12. clearly you have no imagination you can make anything look cool if your dedicated to the project. i think taking simple cases and pimping them out is the truest challenge can you give us some pictures and pic some themes ill give you some ideas based on your themes for example my case im working on now is themed all black and white also im throwing some custom paint and stickers on it from soul eater the anime =] also currently working on a custom PSU shroud
  13. #doestilvoort this very well done simple to copy shroud doesn't take much tools to make and id highly recommend it if you plan on making just 1 however this differs from my plan to have a full profile i can reproduce on a cnc machine when ever i want as i plan to make them for anyone interested. so if your looking to just make 1 for yourself this is were to start http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/89468-simple-psu-cover-shroud-how-to/
  14. yes its a PSU shroud that goes the the entire length of the case with added fan holes so i can still mount fans in the bottom of the case i also plan on adding small 3d printed brackets to mount SSDs on the left with all the space that would be above the PSU. kind of like this

  16. yea a Dremel works great for cutting plastic i find it helps to drill holes at either end of were you intend to cut. then you just play connect the dots its pretty easy and fast but i find having a hole at the point were i want to end the cut will often save you from over cutting. also as linked above the cutting wheels for plastic help but you can use the standard multipurpose wheels just as well. also to who ever said use the metal cutting wheels..... the metal cutting wheels are much more abrasive and will just heat the plastic up faster your better off getting a dremel with Variable RPM speeds that way you can speed it up or slow it down till you get the perfect cutting speed that wont burn the plastic I Personally use a Dremel-4000 and its awesome for everything similar to this one http://www.amazon.com/Dremel-4000-2-30-120-Volt-Variable/dp/B002L3RUVG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1441758985&sr=8-2&keywords=dremel+4000&refinements=p_89%3ADremel
  17. i wish i was familiar with the case id suggest a simple custom mounting bracket idea but with out being able to take some measurements and see whats already there for screws to work with its hard to say that's a beautiful case tho and i understand the want to keep it looking as sharp as possible it maybe as easy as using something like http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-Universal-Mounting-Bracket-BRACKET/dp/B0001UZQWG/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1441671797&sr=8-5&keywords=hard+drive+mounts to mount it on the inside of the case
  18. very nice i have the same MOBO im considering doing the same thing to the back plates on my 980tis so they match this makes me want to do it even more =D
  19. Im a fabricator by trade i can make it myself but if i have a .DXF file i can burn it on my laser and id be able to reproduce the part perfectly if others were interested. im also debating adding a set of screw holes to maybe mount SSDs on the left side above the power supply. I run machines good but my cad skillz are poop sadly i need to take some classes.
  20. So lets start with Shrouds are awesome they make your case look pretty and neat and they hide your PSU and lets face it everything below the MOBO is not what we want people to focus there eyes on when were looking to impress so im working on a 780t Shroud because well its a beautiful case! The damn window is just to big and all the empty space draws away from the goodies!
  21. i have access to everything id need to make a thin steel basement for this case were i work im just debating trying to color match the case or powder coating it white in the paint line were i work also it would be cool to make SSD mounts on the top like some of the NZXT cases have hmmm after reading this thread im now inspired to get this done =] if anyone is interested in making a .DXF file for a basement to this case id be willing to cut it out and even bend it. if you can come up with a better solution than me and have the .DXF files ill make you one also in return for your cad work
