  2. Hello. Thank you for the answer. This is what I get: 02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8186/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 11). Also, I want to mention that my neighbour has an older pc with windows xp and internet works fine there on the same setup.
  3. Hi guys! I've finished setting up Linux Mint on a new pc and everything was working fine. I checked the internet connection and it was working ok so I've moved the pc to the another apartment. We have the same provider, same contract and everything, but 2 routers. To my surprised internet wasn't working anymore. First time I just plugged the cable and it worked, no other setting up needed. I'm really puzzled as I don't see any difference, same router brand. Is the cable to blame? I'll do more troubleahooting tonight when I get home, but any tips would be great as I'm not a Linux user.
  4. This sounds like a cheap ad: 'New AMD graphics card, now better than the last one!'. I mean, how could they not be cheaper than $350? Anyway, hyped to see what Amd and Nvidia bring to the table
  5. For me, probably Crusader Kings 2 or Medieval 2: Total War (with mods). But I imagine that I will return to City Skyline when I will be in the mood because this game is great!
  6. You know what is really funny in your argument? Essentially what you are saying (exaggeration here) is that if the army doesn't accept you in their ranks, you should join ISIS. How about you search for advertising services that don't outright force people to use adblock? Anyway, great idea.
  7. Good points. To add to this: there are a lot of advantages to self driving cars. If city lights were properly synchronized, there shouldn't be any traffic jams (cars would just go 60 km/h or whatever the city limit is, being perfect synchronized with each other). If someone jumps in front of a car, the car should just break and let all the cars behind it do the same thing simultaneously. To answer the OP more directly, I'd say that the car should be programmed to respect street rules first and foremost. Any human error is just that, a human error. Now, I can think of a little kid playing with a ball on the street (like all those 'drive safely' ads), but the car should just break if that happens or, in an extreme case, respect the law, because it's not the driver's fault, but the child's parents. And, like @SansVarnic said, the car should know if there are a bunch of kids crossing the street ahead.
  8. Preordering is like ordering a 12 year old wife from the internet. On one hand you have no idea what you are getting (only information you have are some pictures and some bragging from her parents) and on the other hand you know she needs to grow up a bit (patches in case you didn't get my drift). I don't care if it's Nintendo, Fallout or even Kotor 3, I will never preoder (thought the pip-boy is really cool, I have to admit). Disclaimer: I did not look up if you can order 12 y old girls on the internet, please don't come at my door NSA/FBI/whatevergovernmentagencyreadingthis
  9. I will wait it out as well, until a good pc review comes up. I am a bit skeptical about these reviews. Anyway, about AC3, Yahtzee sums it up perfectly:

  11. It would be cool if they made a space station there. It would be much easier to lunch expeditions from the Moon, even though you still have to get the people there in the first place. But I think it would be awesome to see this accomplishment in our lifetime.
  12. You can throw a couple of hundred hours in the Mass Effect series
  13. I actually think we haven't reach the 'golden age' yet. Subjectively, I could say the early 2000s because I used to have the most fun back then, but, as an adult, I can say that we have come a long way. Sure, micro-transactions and DLCs are a plague, but this industry still needs to mature a lot. Bioshock Infinite, Shadow of Mordor, Witcher 3 are just examples of how gaming industry is still going in the right direction and I think us, as the consumer, really do play a huge role in how this industry will go in terms of making the right purchases.
  14. G2A is still more expensive than steam sales, so you're better off just waiting for a sale
  15. The all in one cooling feels so 'out of place', like buying the cheapest phone and the most expensive case. I have a stock cooler on my $1000 rig and the whole thing runs perfect, cool and silent. I have no experience with AMD A10-7850K, but it does seem like the best idea for your budget.
