I've seen the posts. Take time to look for them in this giant thread before calling someone a fan. This is their (Linus Tech Tips') community forum. The fact that you're calling someone a `fanboy` says you aren't here to use reason. You're here to troll.

I believe this toxicity may have been the result of a bandwagon. People think it's okay to dump on LTT and cancel them. Create a thread solely focused on what they did wrong. Create wild speculation about what actually happened, without anyone here besides LTT or Billet Labs saying otherwise making a lick of difference. Billet has released commentary stating they are satisfied with the conclusion, yet people are still saying it is a shit outcome. What more do you want from them? They've acknowledged their mistakes after a salty take. Yet people are still jumping on this bandwagon because they view themselves as justified, or because it's `funny` to kick someone while they're down. I don't believe anyone deserves 246 pages of flame (except maybe a few politicians.) They've stated they're stopping production to fix this. Let them fix it. Linus at the end of the day is human.

I don't think it's constructive to open several threads about how they screwed up. Let them make a response. Fueling the fire is a troll's game.

If they've lost over 3,000 subscribers on Floatplane, if they were non-OGs, they've lost over $180K in ARR. This needs a better response or the fire will continue to burn.

It goes beyond the Billet issue, I'm afraid. Have you noticed you've been a bit egotistical and losing sight of your original vision? You're a lot cockier in the WAN shows lately and you don't seem to care about consequences anymore. There have been more than a few times that Luke look has looked at you like "Did he just say that?" You've shared the merchandise dashboard a few times, and made the argument that there's no reason to cancel the WAN show. But I'd argue that if you keep being unscripted and flying off the handle in the same ways, it is very realistic for the WAN show to be given the ax. Reputational harm is a serious thing. It could easily cost LTT more than the $50K-$60K it makes per stream if you keep acting the way you have been. You need to do more than just tighten up some documentation. Selling and/or auctioning something that was supposed to be returned is poor behavior. I get that your organization is now big enough that some parts may not know what the other parts are doing. The issue is the attitude. Trust me Bro, actions and words have consequences, and if you don't come to grips with that fact you may well find your entire $100M+ empire crashing and burning.

In his defense, I'm a software engineer and I found the link to 'Help & Support' through this post. Placing 'Help & Support' under the 'Settings' option isn't the clearest navigation path. I'd say 'Settings' is more accurately defined on Floatplane as 'Dashboard', since it contains more than settings.

Indeed, it appears largely GPU bound. I just found it interesting that it reports it incorrectly.

In February I started my first programming job. I'm an autodidact and there's no jobs locally within 130 miles so I had to get very lucky to get a remote gig. My major languages are C#, javascript, SQL, and my own language OILexer (used to write languages.) I write Server-side services using the WCF, web applications using MVC 5 and C# (the Razor engine rocks) and I assist in building the client application which is the ISV I work for's major bread winner. I frequently write tools to get things done using WPF due to its flexibility. My preference is towards code automation.

Here's hoping I don't have to upgrade later to 256GB... or hoping I do?
