Bruh moment if I ever saw one. Its quite rare I'm this inspired to make a high effort meme out of spite. But seriously, screw you dude. Did you exchange the block for money? If "yes" to this "yes or no" question, it's basically the same goddamn thing whether that means was auction or a listing on LTTstore. Where that money went is irrelevant. IDC if it was your pocket or not, your company did a fucky wucky. I don't know how you can make it right without tracking down the buyer and buying it back, out of your personal pocket and sending it back to Billet Labs... That's just my suggestion though. You do you. Either way, not renewing my FP sub and am no longer subbed to any LMG channels. Do better my guy.

Well we're very much SOL then cause my reach is effectively zero on social media. I mostly peruse around reddit and of course 99% of subs say no begging. -

Do you know anywhere I can share this then? Besides the usuals like faceboook and twitter. -

If a mod has an issue with it sure, I'll understand. Just trying help my club by spreading the word. -
I work as a computer teacher and IT at a K-12 school and I run a PC Gaming Club there for the kids. Unfortunately we're stuck with very, very under-powered, ancient graphics cards. Most of the other hardware is alright, we got SSD boot drives, 8GB of RAM, and i7 2600 CPUSs... but we're stuck with these awful, OEM, Radeon HD 6570 graphics cards. I haven't outlined this fact in my GoFundMe page, but these things are also starting to self destruct too because the heat sinks are so bad that they inflate and crack the fan shroud, seizing the fan, or worse, bust the GPU die/short something. I have pics too. We aren't going to be using these for just gaming, also need the hardware beef for a Game Design/Development class I intend on teaching as well as some other Digital Media topics as well. <Link Removed> Anything helps, even sharing would be awesome!

Yes. For a game drive, cheaper, generic drives are fine. We use one at my school for gaming club to store VR games. Only reason people blast them and say they suck is because as an OS drive they'll be slammed with writes, potentially reducing their lifespan faster if they are a DRAMless SSD(most cheap/generic ones are. Wouldn't call ADATA generic though). Do some research on any models you look at and check r/buildapcsales. Basically everyday there's SSD deals posted there and people giving input on them, their stats, past experience with the brand/model etc...

How to lock down a child's phone?
TrueMegaManiac replied to SamJG's topic in Programs, Apps and Websites
If you can, whitelist phone numbers you and other family numbers and maybe one or two good friends of hers. Don't want any weirdo's or robocalls texting or calling. Then get a cheapo android phone and use the google parental controls mentioned in other comments. -
I7 3960X vs RyZen 1600X

DDR3 at Quad Channel though. Makes up the difference a fair amount. -
I7 3960X vs RyZen 1600X
TrueMegaManiac replied to freakynoid's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
The only thing that bothers me about the AMD config is the motherboard. A320 is pretty low end and offers no overclocking. Try squeezing in a b350 if you can if you go the AMD route. But an X79 board and a 3960X for 250 is a deal and DDR3 is cheaper than DDR4 by a good margin. -
I7 3960X vs RyZen 1600X
TrueMegaManiac replied to freakynoid's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Interesting thought. Memory bandwidth with DDR3 4 channel vs DDR4 2 Channel is similar enough. If you get a good enough cooler the 3960X will be able to beat the 1600X's IPC with raw clocks. However the AM4 platform will have far better upgradability with Zen 2/Ryzen 3000 coming within the next couple months. Best you can get on X79 is the Xeon e5 1680 which is 8C 16T but resellers charge way too damn much for how old they are but they are overclockable on x79 using multiplier unlike the e5 2000 xeons. With price being equal I would go for the 1600x solely for upgradability or "Future proofing" If you want, would be a good idea to look a tech yes city's comparison betwee the 2700X, 1680, and 9900K. Knock a couple cores off of each and you have a fairly good idea where 1600X vs 3960X lie. -
What should I get in order to add rgb to my build?
TrueMegaManiac replied to Carz728's topic in Cases and Mods
For starters you have an overclocking capable motherboard with a locked processor. Get a K sku to go with that motherboard or drop the board to a B360. As for RGB I think your plan of RGB strips and Fans is solid. Also, that PSU with a Vega 56 is cutting it a little too close for comfort. Go with a 650W or better ideally. -
gtx 1050 ti High gigabyte gtx 1050 ti oc gpu clock speed
TrueMegaManiac replied to NoobGamer2000's topic in Graphics Cards
Ignore heaven's clocks. They're largely irrelevant. Afterburner's is accurate. As for the card performing at over 1800Mhz stock, it's just GPU boost doing it's thing.- 12 replies
