  1. Okay, so after everything I have been through you guys/gals have reason to believe it is either my PSU or RAM that could be causing the problem. If there by any chance something I can do that doesn't involve me from having to buy new hardware? Because I really want to play this game among others at native res at 60.
  2. Yeah it is. Corsair Vengeance Black 16GB at 3400MHz. Had no idea that could be the issue. So we are agreeing that it is either the PSU, GPU or RAM that could be the issue. Well this is kinda frustrating because the GPU is currently irreplaceable and with as powerful as it is I can't see how I could go better than that without reaching the point of insanity. The RAM is probably the easier of the options to work around although it does seem weird how only 2 games have done this if it appears to be an issue with the RAM. So that just leaves the PSU, which from what everyone hear is saying is probably the most likely candidate.
  3. Okay, and how do I do that? Also just so you know, I'm aware the best thing to do would be to lower the graphics settings in my games, and in most cases, that is what I would do. But FFVII Remake has no setting except for resolution, texture and shadows. Everything is has to be there, annoying.
  4. And here are what I presume to be the results of Prime95. I'll admit, this is like trying to read hieroglyphs to me but perhaps someone here might be able to understand them for me. Although if what you are all saying is true (which it most likely is), I'll start shopping for a higher powered PSU as soon as I can afford one.
  5. After 8 minutes on Furmark my PC crashed and rebooted it self. Only difference here is my PC did it automatically than me having to do it manually. Does this give anyone some answer to what might be happening?
  6. Okay, I'm currently doing a Furmark stress test, I'm going to leave it on for about 20 minutes if it lasts that long, then I'll try prime95 and see what happens. Right now Furmark has been on for 8 minutes and my GPU temp is at 78'C
  7. I have not overclocked anything on my setup as I'm not brave enough. I've dabbled with fan speeds before in hope it would make things cooler, but the noise is awful when I do that. I'll check out Furmark and see if I can get back to you.
  8. Nope, the game just freezes, you get a static sound and I have to reboot the entire system.
  9. CPU: AMD Ryzen 5800X GPU: Radeon 6800 XT RAM: 16GB PSU: CORSAIR CX750M Hard Drive: 500GB SSD Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo Motherboard: Asrock X570 Phantom Gaming 4
  10. I'm playing Final Fantasy VII Remake on Steam and after about 10 minutes of playing that game will suddenly crash. This has happened about 4 times now, it use to happen with when I played Resident Evil: Village last year as well but nothing else since then despite playing other high demanding games such as Horizon: Zero Dawn or Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. I'm playing on a 4K monitor with an RTX 6800 XT and an AMD Ryzen 5800X. This was the temperatures the GPU and CPU reached before the FFVII crashed last time.
  11. So. I have now removed the metal casing inside my case so this should improve airflow a fair bit. Hope this works cause I broke a pair of pliers getting the hammered on bolts off and I have no way of getting it back on.
  12. I've done that now as shown in the image but the metal frames that hold the drive bays in place are welded into the case and even then I would then have nowhere to place my SSD if I did that. Perhaps some modding would the best solution to that problem. No the case is a Bitfenix Neos. Very low budget designed case made mostly for beginner PC builds that does the bare minimum, in an ideal world I would buy a better case that would make the system cooler and quieter, but I currently don't have the funds for such a thing. How would I go about doing that? Would I need to download HWinfo64 in order to do that?
  13. Last time I upgraded my system which was under a year ago I made sure all of the fans were pointing in the right directions with the front fans pointing inwards and the rear ones pointing outwards, bringing cool air in from the front and hot air out from the back.
  14. This is the space I have between the wall and my PC. The floor is carpet however I placed a wooden blank between the floor and the PC to prevent any blockages and improve airflow.
  15. I just loaded up Final Fantasy 7 Remake on Steam and after about 10 minutes in the game crashed on me. I'm running a Radeon RX 6800XT and I'm running the game at 4K 60FPS. So depending on how you see things I could be running on hardware not powerful enough for this situation but I hope that is not the case. I felt the temperature of my PC after it had crashed and felt it was time to clean the inside just incase it's too dusty inside as it had been about a year since I had done so. I've now cleaned it out and cleaned the dust filters (which were filthy). But I'm now wondering what I could do to improve the airflow on my system. All of the fans are pointing in the right direction with the front ones flowing cool air into the system and all the back ones flowing hot air out.
