  1. Dodgy boot drive possibly? Run a S.M.A.R.T scan to see if there's any cause for concern.
  2. I live in the United Kingdom and as far as I remember, they were quite prompt with delivering a replacement dongle. I believe it took about 3-4 days from them saying they would dispatch it soon. Yes, you are most likely to need to be transferred to the RMA department as I did. They are extremely helpful and will be more than happy to send you a replacement once you provide them with adequate proof of ownership for the headset whether that be in the form of an image of the headset or invoice. In my case I chose to send an image as I bought mine from Amazon.
  3. Sorry for the delayed response, I simply contacted Kingston Support and they will send you a link to the download site once you state the issue you are having. As mentioned previously, if this doesn't rectify your issue, they should be more than happy to send you a replacement dongle in no time. I deleted all messages from Kingston so I would be unable to send you the link personally (Sorry ). But, I hope this helps you.
  4. I own a pair of the Cloud 2's and I had a similar issue with the sound quality of them. I contacted Kingston Customer Support and they told me to update the firmware of the USB dongle. This mostly fixed my fizzing and popping noises but I could still hear fizzing noises at lower volumes. They then sent me a new dongle and this resolved my issue. Kingston did not request for me to send back the old dongle FYI. I hope this helps you!
  5. I have no clue then on how to fix this apart from RMA'ing your motherboard. Sorry
  6. Well in that case, try another ethernet cable. There's every chance that it's the cable giving you this trouble! Before that, put the cable in and out of the port to get rid of any possible corrosion on the metal pins.
  7. Download the Ethernet drivers as well (I don't know if you've done this already) this should fix it. If not, you may need to RMA your board? Check your motherboard power cable is plugged in fully as well.
  8. Try the old paperclip trick on 2 of the pins of the 24 pin motherboard connector to test if the Power Supply is still functional. I personally don't know which 2 pins it is you have to short out (as I've never had the need to do it) but a quick Google search will set you in the right direction).
  9. All PSU's have the potential to be DOA or cease to function at any time so one brand is not necessarily better than other in that respect. What you want to be looking at is Customer Service, Warranties/Guarantees etc. Yes the CX Series might not be good for gaming, but it's not designed to be! The Corsair website even says that (as well as the video above). In my opinion you'll want to buy a more expensive PSU as it does power the entire PC which means that a giant surge could easily destroy the majority of your components in a flash. Spending a bit more money on a reputable PSU may save you a LOT of money by not having to replace your Motherboard etc.
  10. Thanks, I will do that. I rarely play CS:GO on my PC, I'm more of a TF2 fan myself. But CS:GO is a NICE looking game.
  11. I bought CS:GO on a steam sale. Played it a couple of times and ragequitted on both occasions. 10/10 would ragequit again. On a serious note, learn the recoil patterns of the weapons you are using (that's literally the only thing I've learnt from tutorials).
  12. Cadbury's Oreo filled Chocolate! Mmmmmm
  13. Firstly, why have you not overclocked your CPU and GPU, and is that even a power supply!!?

    HyperX Cloud 2

I will copy and paste my review on Amazon for you, but basically yes:I bought this headset to replace my old No Fear headphones I bought about a year ago, and let me tell you, you need to buy this headset! These are so comfy it's unbelievable. The leatherette ear pads are amazingly comfy as well as the 100% memory foam headband is to die for. I love the design as well, the brushed aluminium is stunning with a stylish HyperX logo on each ear speaker. There is also a HyperX stitched logo on the headband. I thought that it looked a bit rubbish on the images but wow it looks good! In addition to that, the sound quality is all round amazing with perfect bass and treble. I've been using the USB dongle that comes with the headset (which is a must due to the short cable the headset actually has and the fact that you can't use the mic if it's not used). I have a mixed opinion on the virtual 7.1 audio because for some games it just ruins it but on others it's just amazing. Others have said that using the 7.1 audio makes music sound terrible but in my testing, I prefered it a lot more. I personally listen to Dubstep/Drumstep music so your experience may differ. The packaging was nothing short of glorious: Once I opened up the amazon cardboard box, I had to open up the Headset box which actually contained a shoebox like box which actually had the headset and other items inside. It had dense foam padding everywhere and it took a decent amount of force just to actually get the headset out. It's nice to see a company that actually wants their products to arrive in one piece! But seriously, the packaging even looked sleek and as glorious as the headset itself. There is also a little message on the inside of the box lid from Kingston which is a nice inclusion. Let's get onto the dongle, I haven't experienced any issues with it at all. Many people have said that they have had cracking noises whilst using it but mine seems fine. Also, it comes with an aeroplane audio adapter, a travel bag (which is very padded to ensure maximum protection for your headset) and a set of valure (fabric) ear pads in case you want to swap out the leatherette ones. I don't see a real reason to use them as they will get very dirty after some time of use and are dreadful for noise cancellation! Let's go into some of the negatives about it. Now of course nothing is perfect, and in an ideal world, it would be. Here are the things I can think of that I would like to see changed and/or just disappointed me. Firstly, the cable length, yes the dongle cable is extremely long, but I would have liked to have a long headset cable and a shorter dongle cable if you don't want to use a USB port for the headset. As well as that, after wearing the headset for the first time for an hour or so, my head became very sweaty but after a couple of uses this problem is abolished (nothing major but still worth mentioning). Also, the dongle audio buttons are really of no use to me as on Windows 10, when you press the volume up button it goes up by 4 units. And the lowest volume the dongle goes without turning off the audio is 4 and that's pretty loud so I have to manually adjust the setting to 2 or 3 depending on the game. Ambitious but ultimately a failure Kingston . This headset is aimed at gamers and this is apparent as soon as you open the box as it mentions "this is the official headset used (for such and such game tournament)" so I would have liked to have seen an optional macros sort of thing on the dongle where you could have one button for a volume of 3 and another for 7 units instead of viciously ramping up the volume by 4 units. So to sum it up, it definitely is worth splashing out £70 to get this headset as if you are a gamer with a gaming PC that can get a bizzilion frames per second on Crysis 3 and you're using the most uncomfortable headphones or cheap junk earphones then that's not a great gaming experience, so it makes a ton of sense to get these as it will truly emerse your gaming/listening experience. 99.999% recommended overall After about a week of use, the dongle started making fizzing noises at lower volumes which was partially resolved after updating the firmware which Kingston support told me to do. This helped massively, but I can still hear a fizzing noise in the background a slight bit in quiet parts of a game or music. Edit: After talking to Kingston Customer Support they sent me a replacement dongle without me needing to send back the old dongle (How nice!). This has resolved the fizzing issue.
