also, I've checked the requirements and my psu has enough to handle it. will update this thread with any new findings later in the morning

Ram is clicked into place. the cpu pins are definitely fine as I checked them before posting. I'll do the basic build in the morning as it's 1:30 am here

Just finished building my first ever PC. When I turn it on, the case fans and the cpu cooler fans spin and the leds on the gpu, mobo and case all light up but nothing is appearing on the monitor. The monitor displays the no signal error and the monitor has that orange light on and it's completely blank. Here's my specs: MOBO: Asus z97 Pro Gamer CPU: Intel i7 4790k 4 ghz GPU : Msi Nvidia GTX 970 PSU: Corsair rm750i (750 watts) RAM: HyperX 16 GB (8x2) Black I've tried these solutions so far: Turning pc on with one stick of ram instead of two Switching RAM positions Removing GPU and connecting the monitor to the motherboard Taking out the CMOS battery and putting it back in This is my first time building a pc on my own, so I'd like to get everything right, please help me, I'm at my wit's end. Also, if it helps, this monitor works with my old pc.
