  1. yeah i checked, my asus a88x plus has the latest bios installed already, im so confused on this matter
  2. Yeah i did access the bios for OC and it still stays at max 720mhz. Is the gpu clock locked in some way? OC the cpu no issues it just works
  3. Just got a new shiny A10 7850k and paired it with Asus A88X-Plus and 8GB of Hyper x Beast 2400MHZ. Im having issues overclocking the IGPU, where the slider on MSI afterburner maxes at 720MHz. I enabled the checkbox in settings "Extended Official Overclocking Limits" now the slider has some headroom for OC. I set the IGPU clock at 940MHZ but still when in Game MSI stats shows 720MHZ. I have tried even at BIOS to set the IGPU clock speed but 720MHZ is as far as it goes. I read here http://www.eteknix.com/amd-kaveri-a10-7850k-overclocking-unleashing-gcns-potential/ that this APU can hit 1ghz mark on its IGPU. Here are screenshots of my GPU Z/CPU Z and also MSI afterburner (As it can be seen that furmark detects 940mhz igpu speed but GPU Z sees it max at 720MHZ) and im amazed the temperature of the gpu is so very low.
  4. Im sure Zen is gonna kick intel butt this time HBM is gonna take things to a whole new level
  5. Thanks i just purchased a a10-7850k mainly for movies and some light gaming at 720p
  6. is it necessary to get 2133mhz modules for a a10 7850k graphics chip to really perform
