  1. I have a midrange gaming/productivity machine powered by a cx500m. I might play games for two or three hours consecutively a couple of times a week, and have autodesk software running for similar periods of time. Is there any danger of the psu crapping itself in a spectacular fashion, and if so, what would be a good replacement? Part list: intel i5-4690 asus z97-a cm hyper212 evo gtx970 strix 16gb of corsair vengeance pro samsung 850 evo ssd nzxt s340 corsair cx500m psu The build itself is a little over six months old, it's all pretty adequately cooled (idle temps of 20-30C) and not overclocked.
  2. Hey guys, I built a computer about 3 months ago with 8gb of ram, and I recently bought a second kit to help out with photoshop and premiere, but I have started to get regular blue screens after running higher performance apps for extended periods of time (usually 2-4 hours, but sometimes less). The two kits are the same model ( Corsair vengeance pro ddr3 2x4gb @ 1600mhz ) and I purchased them from the same supplier, so I feel like the issues related to mismatched memory shouldn't apply. I simply took the ram out of the box and stuck them in the motherboard when I installed them, so I'm wondering if there's something bios side that I missed. Does anyone have any advice as to what I should do to troubleshoot? Edit: Windows memory diagnostic tool came up all clear on memory errors.
