FuriousGamer reacted to Bananasplit_00 in If you were Bill Gates and had the funds, could you build your PC from scratch SCRATCH?
well if you had all the monies then just throw it at AMD or Intel and they would probably make you a one off CPU, throw some more at ASUS and they will probably make a mobo that fitts the CPU and then throw some more at AMD/NVIDIA and they will make you some GPUs and shits. throwing wads of money at companies solves a lot of problems you know

    *facepalm*

Your PC is cool because it's taking the heat from the CPU, GPU, RAM, storage devices, etc... and putting it into the air...

FuriousGamer got a reaction from Metaton in Are these temps good?
Those temps are a little high maybe throw in a aftermarket air cooler and a couple more fans? You might wanna close that case because alot of dust is gonna get in there and that is a bad thing to have. Amd new cards are for sure gonna be released before september. I would advise waiting for AMD new line of cards but if you cant wait just buy the 1070. There is alot of speculations of how it will compare but there just speculations, in my opinion I think amd new cards will perform a little bit less to Nividias but will be worth it for the perfomance per dollar.

nonononononono, card is not up to spec for todays games, 2GB of VRAM is NOT good. for those $200 you could proably have gotten a 970 or 390 used or a new 380x...

About 24% drop in performance for a roughly 36% drop in price. Pretty fair IMO.

@FuriousGamer I edited my post, even my info is out of date. So basically the new story is that some guy decided to buy Circuit City from TigerDirect and restart it as a boutique shop that will have smaller stores. I'm interested to see how long it lasts.

Also, @FuriousGamer I would imagine that Amazon.fr would have a decent selection of PC parts that would for sure ship to France.

Actually I feel like for most countries Amazon that they have sites for, they seem to have good selections of PC parts. Because I checked amazon.fr and they seem to have a nice selection of PC parts.

I doubt the smaller stores will work. They tried that before Tiger Direct bought the domain and it just left a bad taste in everyones mouth. I doubt anyone would trust the name anymore.

    UK:
You've got the major ones except...
http://www.cclonline.com/  --one of the bigger PC part sellers so...yeah...not being in the list is...erm...

With these being smaller or their main objective isn't to sell as many PC components as possible (other stuff)
http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/  --more for watercooling parts but still, place for PC parts (although a tad more expensive compared to competitors...)
http://www.fiercepc.co.uk/  --they build prebuilds but they also sell hardware (probably doesn't count as it's not exactly a PC part selling business however this is where I bought my first PSU from )
http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/  --not that big but still, a good place for hardware...(probably a bit too small to be in the list)
(BTW, these are some of the other stores I look at when shopping hardware so you know...)
