  1. My budget is about 1500$ with a buffer zone and I do some gaming but not too intense. I mostly use productivity suites eg. Ms office.
  2. The nerd inside of me wants to go with the rog g751 which has way better specs but the MacBook does have a better battery life. Matters if this is a desktop replacement or a laptop.
  3. If you want to stick with Asus maybe try the Asus rog g501 or the Acer aspire v15 nitro black edition. Both have pretty much the same specs except for the better screen on the Asus side of things but the Acer is cheaper at 1200$ give or take a few bucks.
  4. If you choose to go to the iOS side most older people find it easier to use (experience with my grandmother) and it has guided access which allows you to stay in only one app. You will have to put a case on it though to make it more durable But iPad are not rough so if you wish to go to the android side you might want to consider one of the notes which are very productive
  5. I would try the note series of tablets from the Samsung line or the Asus zen pad but those may be a bit small compared to what you are looking for.
  6. I am looking for a new laptop and cannot decide between the MacBook Pro 13" 2015, the Acer aspire v15 nitro black edition or the Asus rog G501. All of them have their own strong points: MacBook-battery, Acer-affordability and Asus-battery and affordability I was hoping someone would help me decide and would also like to ask what the battery life of the Acer is if you have one. Thank you in advance
