  1. Turns out it was the oc so I have a 4ghz oc for gaming saved profile and 3.9 for content, amazingly 3.9 at stock voltage
  2. I know lol although I did use a different method for the thermal paste so could be that but by like 12 degrees better

So I just done a new bios update Iv passed r15 a few times passed intell burn test but Aida 64 doesn't fail, it comes up with a error message saying " modual in Aida 64 has stoped working windows will now close this program" (also the newer version of aida64) is it the program or u stable cpu ? The message come up with in 5 mins of running it
  4. Temps were better for me on the 1700 for some reason

Yeah I do the 1600 is by far the best for the money, it performs the same in all games the 1700 just has a edge in rendering so depends on your work load but the 1600 is a fucking best at rendering too so really depends if u wanna spend the extra money you would be better off with a 1600 and a better gpu

  7. i am amazed at how much better it was in terms of smoothness and frames droped at 3 ghz compared to the 7700k at 4.9 tho
  8. although intel has the numbers in pauls hardwares video on the consumer side, look at what the view sees on a stream, also this is with ryzen at stock 3ghz vs 7700k at 4.9
  9. There is a aio header on the board too but u can plug the fans off of the rad into cpu header and opt cpu header

  11. I don't struggle for 144hz rise of the tomb raider average fps is 150 highs of 200 overwatch 280 average fps bf1 turn down a few settings 144 the division 144 with a few things turned down
  12. Funny that my 1700 games at 144hz perfectly yet you all recomend a 7700k
  13. Yes you have to do it every time with ryzen master it's always better to use the bios

Hey all, I'm considering downclocking 100mhz to 3.9 as 4ghz requires 1.43v but I can do 3.9 at 1.35 i think my chip will last longer and I do love lower temps but do you think there will be any significant difference in anything ? Gaming ? Im ok with loosing 2 fps but if it's gona be like 5/10 maby not do any of you run your cpu under its max oc ? fyi temps are not a issue I never break 60
  15. Don't down clock idure that's just his board otherwise all cpus would burn at that voltage
