  1. Oh, really? But wouldn't the program say a warning or so? Because I can't find any in the screenshots in the link above.
  2. Hello, I have realized after months, that my 960 EVO 500GB is "31K BAD"-aligned. I asked google how to fix my problem and I came upon following solutions: https://www.disk-partition.com/windows-10/ssd-alignment-windows-10-3889.html Since diskpart will delete all my data, I have to choose either Samsung Magician or AEOMEI Partition Assistant. Do you have any experience or have you heard from one of them? Would you recommend to do the alignment with this or any other one which appears in your mind? edit: okay, I have no idea how to do so with Samsung Magician. On the newest version at least. -Gamdschiee
  3. Hey, I got my first 144 Hz monitor yersterday. I had a Dell u2515h before, but I use it as a side monitor now. The only thing I am kinda shocked about is the colour difference between the Dell and the Acer. The Dell comes with a AH-IPS Panel and the Acer with a bit weaker IPS-Panel I think. Because the colours of the Dell look very clean and just perfect in my opinion. Acer-Settings: Dell-Settings: Here some pictures for comparison(first is with f.lux 3000K and second with 6500K): So how can I improve the color quality as much as possible so that it will be the same, but still good looking? It's important to use f.lux for me, because my eyes will hurt when it is the light is too bright. Also it's weird for my eyes to switch from that color to the other color on the other monitor. It feels like the Acer is very weak in comparison with the Dell U2515. AH-IPS panels are just amazing.
  4. Hello guys, I am looking for a very good offic/gaming chair. It only should be comfortable and should be hold very long. So it gotta be very stable. I am ready to put 300eur in there. I found Maxnomic Dominator, but idk if it is good. But maybe a 100eur is enough too? But idk either that it can maybe fall apart after one year? So a 300eur chair would be better. I have no idea unfortunetaly. Help me please :). Sincerely, Gamdschiee
  5. Hello, I want to buy the samson metero microphon, but I do not know if this is combatible with Win10. I am on Win7 right now, but maybe I will buy Win10 or so. Can you tell me this please? Sincerely, Gamdschiee
  6. What do you say about following build? http://geizhals.de/eu/?cat=WL-557594&wlkey=e705d975a427fad3c8bec0536b569e8c Is it ok too play with that system 6 years long? I will change the graphic card every two years.
  7. Okay maybe there are too less thoughts about it. Here a few: - I want the right CPU for future safety and for me it is the best way to go for a Xeon E3-1231 v3. It is cheap as a i5 and have hyperthreading, wich can be helpful for games in future, maybe. Why not overclockable CPU? Because overclocking is not important for Gaming. Much more important is the GPU, not the CPU. I do not play strategy games, where the CPU is a little more important. I think when I upgrade my graphic cards in a interval of 2 years, I will be play Games at highest detail with the xeon. I do not need a higher clock speed for gaming or what do you guys say? -I am not interested on Skylake, that is why I ask if I really go for skylake, because the performance is similiar haswell.
  8. Hello, I have been waiting for the IFA in Berlin and Intel does not released the Xeon-Skylake for desktop-use. The only one interesting non-OC CPU is the i7-6700. I live in Austria and this CPU does currently cost 350EUR, which is too much for a non-OC CPU. Haswell-System: Xeon E3 1231 v3 ~250€ B85 Pro ~70€ 8GB DDR3 RAM ~40€ Overall: ~360€ Skylake-System: i7-6700er let's say at the end of september ~300€ passendes H-Board dazu -> 100€? 8GB DDR4 RAM -> 60€? Overall: ~460€ 1. Are the prices of the Skylake-System right? 2. Is it worth to pay 100€ more for the Skylake-System to get very low performance improvements that I can't even recognize while Gaming? I only play RPG's like Witcher 3, GTAV, MGSV and all the other upcoming RPG's. Sometimes the campagne of an ego-shooter, but never mulitplayer! I'll play on a Dell u2515(not bought yet) with a r390. I think on high/ultra and lower AntiAliasing you can play very smooth at 60FPS with still a beautiful graphic. I hope you can help me to make the right decision. Sincerely, Gamdschiee
  9. Ok thank you, then I will take the Dell! But can someone say what is the difference between the dell and the Crossover 2795QHD? Is it worth to buy the Crossover to have da bigger monitor and 30-40 more of hz?
  10. Hello guys, i want to buy a new PC at the beginning of september, but will the xeon-skylake have a good availibility? The new i7,i5 are not really availible in Europe, i do not know why. What do you think about this topic? Sincerely, Gamdschiee
  11. Thank you guys for your fast response! Oh good the test says for the DELL: Good response times and low lag But it doesn't have DVI and VGA? VGA is pretty old, but i thought DVI is the new one? How can I connect my graphic-card with the monitor? You said the Asus PB258Q is cheaper then the DELL u2515h? Here in Europe(Austria), I can get this DELL totally NEW for only ~290€(~330USD). Is it more expensive in USA etc.? The Asus costs ~400USD, but the Dell is better then the Asusi, right? Am I right, that response time is only important for multiplayer-shooter, where you need very fast changes on the display? This monitor is too expensive(~400USD), sadly. What is so special on this monitor? Bigger and 4ms response time? I could get this as a "shop demonstration model" for ~370USD, but I think that's a bad idea, isn't? This monitor is also too expensive. I only can get this in Europe(Austria) for round about 400USD. I think TFT-panel is not so good as ISP, right? Hmm one thing I need to talk about: There are some monitors from south korea, that can be overclocked to 80-100Hz. E.g. following: www.ebay.com/itm/CrossOver-2795QHD-2560xa1440-LG-AH-IPS-Non-Glare-27-Monitor-/321837269807?hash=item4aeeff032f http://www.ebay.com/itm/Perfect-CROSSOVER-27QHD-6ms-D-DVI-QHD-2560-x-1440-LG-S-IPS-Computor-Monitor/221111368687?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D32481%26meid%3D9b3fff0d650c4c3bbc7c0963695a1d36%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D141115538942&rt=nc What do you say about it? Is it the risk worth to get a oc-monitor, 27", same isp-panel like dell and cheaper etc.? But there are some risks like dead pixel etc. - What do you guys say about such monitors?
  12. Hello guys! I am new to this forum and I hope you can help me to find the right monitor for my use. I want to buy a new PC-system in a few weeks. I'll probably buy the new Xeon-Skylake, that will coming up in September. Additionally I want a new monitor. My old LG w2242 only has a resolution of 1680x1050, I'll us it as a second monitor for skype, facebook and so on. A few information you need to know: - size: 24"-27" - WQHD(1440p) for the R9 390 8GB Nitro - price: ~340$ or ~300€ - I am only playing open world RPG's like Witcher 3, GTAV, the upcoming MGS: Phantom Pain and someetimes the campagne-mode of ego-shooter games like CoD and BF, but never multiplayer-shooter. - I am from Europe - Austria (maybe it is important to know for the availability of the suggested monitors) - I have following suggestion: Dell u2515 Is the Dell u2515 the best option for me and will the R9 390 8GB Nitro get along with it? Will I can play future games(in 1-2 years) between HIGH and Ultra with best AA etc.? In 2 years I'll buy a new graphic card and then these cards will be able to fully manage WQHD-monitors. What do you say this all? Sincerely, Gamdschiee
