These look great, they go for 140 dollars each where i live. These over the BX5 then.
-
Wow $400, you might have looked at the carbon version or something like that. What about those JBL LSR305 that SSL mentioned, are they stronger than the bx5 do you think?
-
These are far more than my budget. the amazon link tells me they are $180 per monitor compared to the $100 bx5
-
Prefferably not more than 300 dollars for a pair.
-
Im buying new studio monitors, should i go for the Fluid audio F5 or the M-audio bx5?
-
Yeah but doesn't that just carry mono
-
Ok but (sorry if I'm wrong I don't know much about this) doesn't that take the signal and then I use a splitter to take the TRS 1/4 cables to each monitor. Doesn't that make each signal the same making it mono??
-
Wait so they are TRS balanced? I thought they were 3.5mm jacks
-
Doesn't that just give me mono sound then?
-
Ok thanks a lot for help
-
Ok so do the 2 3.5mm outs serve as right and left for each studio monitor?
-
Does using an XLR to 3.5 Jack decrease sound quality compared to buying a different dac and using XLR
-
Ok will the quality of sound go down if i use a balanced to unbalanced cable from my speakers to the Fulla 2. If i were to get a modi 2 and a sys, how could i connect my headphones.
-
Can i use a Schiit fulla 2 for my 2 studio monitors + headphones. And would it work as a USB audio interface without Midi in/out. Is the it as good as the DAC in a focusrite or roland. How do i set it up
-
Im Sorry im just so Confused, Been watching videos on the Schiit stuff and theres so many cables. Its 2 am and i have school tommorow and im just frustrated
-
Can the fulla switch between headphone and speaker, and adjust separate volume? And does it virtualy do the same as a scarlett without midi and XLR? And Why would i need XLR cables when my speakers use balanced audio cables?
-
Nah i dont need those XLR, but all those fot perfectly into my price range so i will have to give them a try. Sorry This Is all so complicated. I just want a box or to Where i can connect my speakers and headphones to Get better stronger sound, and adjust volume. What boxes

Ok so instead of buying a scarlett 2i2 or roland, Because im not using midi. I could Get Schiit stack or something. What you recommend Getting, so i can plug in both my monitors and headphones. And adjust volume.
-
So is a DAC a soundcard without the midi and xlr ports. Im not fully sure about all This.
-
No but im planning on using XLR
-
Im not really using instruments. An ableton push 2 and a keystation mini.
-
Then im Pretty Much Wasting the idea of having good studio monitors. My computer only has One audio out, so im turning the sound from stereo to mono
-
I dont need an amp, as the studio monitors im getting have an inbuilt amp. I need a USB audio interface to plug my speakers into and XLR microphone compatibilty. I just want something i can plug my studio monitors and headphones into and Get a stronger Crisper sound than plugging it into my PC. Isnt that What the scarlett and roland do? My friend had onboard audio before and he bought a roland quadcapture ua55 and the quality went from good to amazing. He has the same studio monitors as im Getting.

Am using m50x, and am going to hook up a pair of studio monitors to it. Would prefer external so i can then adjust the volume from the box and not the pc
