  1. Hi all, I just purchased some arctic mx-5 thermal paste and went to apply it. At first some sort of transparent liquid came out and later some bluish more solid, whitch would be the thermal paste. But it is more solid than the previous mx-4 I and is even abit hard to put because it will stay stuck to the container. It would look like it is not properly mixed inside the container and that is why I first got this more transparent kind of yellowish liquid. I tried to mix it with a toothpick, but that didn't do much. Has this happened to anybody? or is my thermal paste bad? Thanks
  2. Cause I also use lots of programs that take real long to load for work and I like to have them on an SSD to save time. I have a 2TB HHD for files and games
  3. I currently have a samsung 850 evo 120gb but it is running a but short on space. I want to go for a samsung 860 evo 250gb, but it is very expensive in my country, and if I get it shipped the price with shipping + tax is almost the same as a kingston hyperx fury 240gb I can get here. Is the samsung really better or should I just go for the kinston that I can buy here? Thank you
  4. And what about the switch CRS326-24G-2S+RM. It is the only switch they have available here, it is a bit more then what I need but there is nothing else. Now it says it can be used with SwitchOS or RouterOS. Is it better to use RB750Gr3 and this as a switch or should I use it as a router with the RouterOS? Thank you
  5. I am looking for a new router and I found Ubiquiti and Mikrotik are the most common where I live. What I would like to do is to split my internet connection by priority. Now what I have read in most cases is you can set a limit for max bandwidth a vlan can use, but what I would like to do is to set 50% for one vlan and 50% for the other vlan. But that if there is no activity in one vlan the other one can use 100% and not be limited only to the 50% and the other is just wasted. Is this possible? What router do you think I should go for, Ubiquiti or Mikrotik? I do not have much experience with any of them Thank you
  6. Hi, I have been thinking of buying an pcie nvme ssd and saw intel 600p 512gb was a cheap one although this affects performance. I later found a pny cs2030 480gb for a very similar price and also adata xpg sx8000. Which one would you recommend? which one performs better and last longer? Thank you
  7. Hi, what would you recommend, Intel 600P 512gb PCIe nvme ssd or WD black 512gb PCIe nvms ssd? The price is very similar, which one will work faster? Thank you
  8. I would like to win the new razer blade over the stealth because of the extra power of the gtx 1060 for gaming and don’t mind it being a bit thicker than the stealth since it is already going to be much thinner than my current laptop. I would love to win it because I really like razer laptops and they don’t sell them in Argentina and because it is a very portable and still powerful laptop that would come in very well for on the go gaming and also I could take real advantage of a good i7 cpu in a portable laptop for data analyzing and 3d modeling since I am studying mechanical engineering. Congrats on the 3 million, I love you videos.
  9. Hi, I have a 6700k and a gigabyte ga-z170x gaming 5 moterboard. I have managed to get my overclock stable at 4.5 GHz with core voltage at 1.32v and cpu loadline calibration set to high (the other options are auto or standerd). But in HWMonitor I see CPU VCORE 1.3V average and max 1.32V. But the VID is like 1.35V average and with max peaks of 1.402V. Is this ok or should I change something. Y have a hyper 212 evo cooler and my temps are at 70C when running x264.Thanks
  10. after uninstalling drivers and restarting pc temps went down to 41C
  11. it started like 2 days ago, I can't remember changing anything for it to happen. I'll try uninstalling drivers and reinstalling
  12. it used to be at about 35/38C before but don't know why now it went to 50
  13. Hi, I have a gigabyte gtx 1070 g1 and in idle it is at 49º/50º is that normal or should it be less? I don't really know my room temperature but it is not very hot, i guess it might be at about 19º and have a corsair graphite 780t case so have quite a bit of airflow. Thanks
  14. That is where I am having problems. I am setting the voltage low but it will go way more than what I put, going from 1.32 to 1.423
  15. yes, I have now lowered voltage to 1.27 but it wont go below 1.3 and it still reaches peaks of 1.404 with LLC in "high". Will try standard now
