Generally agree with you that they shouldn't - if somebody is willing to make a topic 'bout it, the title should inform the reader what it's about.

My only thought while making a title is "What's a good three word summary" with emphasis on the "three word part".

If LTT can make click bait titles, LTT forum users should be able to make click bait titles. I don't accept double standards. 

I don't mind clickbait as long as it's true to the contents.
