That PSU is SATAN! Change it right away! Change to RM750i! and by the way you only need 2 case fans.

Change the 390 to a 970 if you absolutely have to have Nvidia.

kunal445 reacted to Stardar1 in Anything wrong with this?
well, for gaming there is no need for the I7, so it is balanced just fine

kunal445 reacted to techguru in Why I need a 1ms respond time monitor?
5ms and under is fine...you probably want a IPS 5ms 60hz or better monitor

kunal445 reacted to ThatOneRussian in Is this build okay for pc gaming?
change the mobo to the Z series because you wont do a lot of overclocking with that one

kunal445 reacted to don_svetlio in Is this build okay for pc gaming?
850W is beyond overkill
i5 4460 + R9 380 is the minimum for that budget.

kunal445 reacted to tezza192 in New PC Build Help
if i was you i would strip the whole thing down and rebuild the basic parts back on the motherboard box, I don't know if something is shorting out there or what. Just use motherboard, CPU, one stick of RAM and the power supply, use the onboard video to test.
Do a test outside the case - which by the way is always best practice before building in the case to make sure everything works.

So you currently have a mouse that doesn't work but another one is coming in the mail? Can you try the one you have in a different computer to see if it works?

kunal445 reacted to Ocelot in New PC Build Help
Just to provide some more details about my continued efforts:
When attempting to boot, the CPU LED on the motherboard briefly shows as red till the computer powers off and reboots. I have to flip the switch at the back of the PSU to stop this seemingly endless cycle.
I have tried unplugging all components except for the motherboard, CPU, CPU cooler (even tried without it), one stick of RAM and the PSU to no avail.
I have individually cycled the two sticks of RAM in each of the four RAM slots.
I have made sure multiple times that the cables are properly plugged into the PSU and motherboard. Same for the case's front IO port cables (power switch, light etc.).
Thank you to all of the people who have been kind enough to respond to my post. At this point, I would greatly appreciate any more help.
Praying to Linus and Luke for help has not seemed to solve things thus far but I shall continue my attempts.
