I have the best one that i know of everyone else has a crappy dell or gateway pc. I keep telling them i only spent $300 more and have a far more powerful rig.

i used to have that problem with my gtx 660ti i pulled it from my system for a week or so i finnaly put it back in about 4 days ago and its been going ever sense. it has dropped from 60k ppd to about 35k ppd though your 580 may do the same just something to look out for.

I have no problem contributing to the fourm or Linus media group. its like cable tv you pay to see your shows. well i will give a couple bucks a month to Linus for the content they produce everyday.

as long as i have a running pc or server i will fold on them. i do not mine on anything just dont have any interest in any mining. im a folder for life.

i have over 10 years with computers and i have never used one. just touch something metal when you get up or move around a lot you will be fine.

my current 4p folder puts out heat as well and i used to have 5 gpus folding across 3 systems. so i already have most of the hardware just need to upgrade the gpus. f@h just seems to want to push everyone to gpu so some of up might have to follow suit.

ok so i was thinking of putting together a 32 core folder but after this post https://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=25411&start=75#p253960 it basically said that they may change the requirement again at the end of 2014. i think i might abandon big advanced folders and go back to gpu. i just dont have the money to keep up with the changes. what are your guys thought on the subject.

could just be the gpu hope not but my gtx 660ti refuses to fold anymore after months of folding. try reinstalling folding at home and drivers and see if that fixes the issue.

yes a good g34 4p server is still the way to go like whalers server. but those of us with 4p socket f servers will not make the deadline anymore.
