Actually according to amazon your laptop only has integrated graphics, no amd gpu.

Have you looked into powerline ethernet? It's a system that uses your houses electric wiring to transfer internet connections. In the right circumstances can be much better than anything wireless. It's a good middle ground for people who don't have access to regular ethernet. I know a few friends who have it.

Run "sfc /scannow" in an admin shell, (the command prompt or cmd). This is a system file Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files. Helped fix my win10 update issues.
My system is fairly competent w/ an i7-4790k and a 960, just whenever it tries to update it always ends up saying "something went wrong" and gives me an error code. Of course searching up the code leads to nothing.
