  1. Anyone know how to fix this? I got it after my PC restarted after I selected RAPID mode on my ssd. I got it into safe mode and removed RAPID but still get the issue. Have done many steps online with the command prompt and even used microsofts chat service. But alas to no avail. I7 6700k Gigabyte Z170 Gaming G1 EVGA 980 SC EVGA 1300w psu samsung 850 evo 250gb boot drive samsung 840 evo 1tb ssd windows 10 Pro 64bit bios is up to date
  2. I will try that LabRat, and maremp, the computer had internet when I set it up back when we had it. It shouldn't be down out of no where. Also my grandparents have a different IP than I do so. I also pay for the max my has in my area.
  3. Well I'm currently online with my phones, ipads, this computer and 3 others just fine. Also their router is fine I believe since my phone and tablets connect and show full speed when doing a speed test.
  4. Guys I need help with a bestbuy computer. It was bought around xmas time last year. Its my grandparents computer. Yeah I know, that the first problem right there lol. But on to the real concern, the computer no longer is connected to the internet, wired or wireless. When troubleshooting it says it doesn't have an IP address. When I open up Ethernet Status, IPv4 and IPv6 both show "No network access" The wireless receiver does pick up all the surrounding wifi including my 2 home but still has no internet. I do have Discord, TS3, Vent, Skype to use to chat and troubleshoot. Also does anyone know if I download Win10 from MS and reinstall it on the computer and use the OS key thats already on it, will it let me?
  5. Godzilla44 Uplay name. GS is 189
  6. Godzilla44 add me on Uplay. My GS is 189, working on breaking that 200 threshold lol
  7. Yes sir. Mostly I came here first to ask and see if people knew of decent shorter ones before buying and then it not fitting and taking a 10% restocking fee. I'm going to hit up Microcenter thursday I think and hope they have some opened boxed rads that I can line up and see and hope fit. Really do not want to just buy another 240, even though I plan to use my existing EK240. I got rid of my corsair 900D case with my 480 rad.
  8. That black ice is the longest rad @ 412mm. That's worse than all the others being @ 400mm or 398mm. The magicool can not fit since you put the fitting on top of the ends. I do not need a slim rad. I need a short rad.
  9. I just bough a Lian Li PC-08 case and would like to put a 360 rad in it. Problem is that I have not found a rad to fit. The fittings end is a few mm to long to allow the mounting holes to line up.
  10. Asus Formula Z Mobo Domintator Platinum 16gb *4x4* @ 2400hz AMD FX 9370 8-core CPU EVGA 980sc EVGA 1300w PSU Samsung 1TB SSD as main and only HD And computer is now fully liquid cooled, CPU, MOBO, GPU, and even RAM running to 1 480 rad and a 240 rad with push pull fan config on the 480. GPU temp only ever hits 33C on HWMonitor, CPU temp highest has been 51C Have never ran full throttle benchmarks after changing all to liquid cooling. Been making sure all air pockets have been removed and no leaks.
  11. nope was a fresh install when built. Never looked before to check if all cores were there when first built. Had issues with getting all my 16 gb ram to read in windows. Windows showed 16gb but only 12 usable. I called asus thinking it was the mobo, since i tried multiple RAM modules even ones on the list in the manual. All the same issue. Called ASUS to RMA board and they helped me fix it. Some things in the Bios were labled differently and didnt have details about it. I have 15.9gb of the 16 now. I was satisfied and never checked all other things like I normally do. Iv only been digging into things because I'm having frame drops playing BL2. Yes im running everything maxed on 2560x1440 resolution. I know it a heavy hitter but I normally run around 100-120 fps on my Asus Swift monitor depending area, when solo. Yes adding 4 players online will make it drop with all the action but changing setting for the game and even dropping resolution to 1080 only helps like maybe 15fps, gets me from the 26fps up to maybe 40 with resolution dropped and all setting off or low. Im running an EVGA 980sc. I play Evolve at max with 1440 and still manage to keep around 80+ fps.
  12. Task manager shows 7 and I am not able to change graph view. Right click does nothing. Also the only thing in my msconfig that I'v changed is under advanced boot to boot from all cores and even there im only able to select 7 not 8.
  13. I don't know why my computer only sees 7 cores instead of 8.
