    144hz blurriness

bump. still no solution, have tried almost everything i can think of, the DVI is high quality, my monitor port isn't broken, and this 750 is the only problem i can think of.

    144hz blurriness

Is there supposed to be a pushed in pin on a DVI-D dual link cord? Because on both ends of the cord a pin is pushed in, at the exact same spot?

    144hz blurriness

I've just purchased a new dvi-d dual link cable and when I plugged it in, and changed from 60hz to 144hz on my XL2411Z monitor it went blurry. I'm using a gtx 750 2gb card and is it even capable of going to 144hz?? (plan on upgrading soon so don't ask why i have this monitor and such a poop card) I've tried installing the drivers for my monitor even though i've been told they're not needed anymore for windows 10, and I have tried using both dvi-i and dvi-d ports on the 750 and nothing has worked, No idea what the problem can be.
  4. Just about 1 week ago I changed cases and I had a problem with the power switch as in I accidentally unplugged it from the top while installing the dvd rom. Now my PC turns on and I can run my games all normally and everything works as it should, but my pc just has this problem where whenever I turn off my PC I have to switch off the PSU and hold the power down until I can turn the computer back on again which obviously isn't normal, whenever I turn on the PC without doing this however, results in my fans turning on and the cpu fan (hyper212 evo) going around full speed. All I want to know is if there is anything actually wrong with my system and if there is anything I can do to be able to just turn off and on my PC whenever I choose to.
  5. Hello everybody I currently have a question as to changing my processor, I currently have an i5 3470 at stock clock speed, cooled by an Hyper 212 evo. I was at my local pc part place and they keep all their old stuff, so I saw an old i7 4820k and an Asus P9X79 Pro board, and 16gb of some cheap ddr3 1600mhz ram. All together for 300 dollars. I'm just wondering if I should take the deal, and if it will be a high improvement over the i5 i have now and the 12gb ram I have, or should I save up more for a newer skylake i5? I am using a GTX 980 Amp! card btw, and I also want to know if my i5 I currently have is bottlenecking my card.
  6. Turns out that when I was putting in the DVD rom I accidentally unplugged the power thin which went to the motherboard, all works perfect now!
  7. Before I do any of this shouldn't there be a led on the motherboard signaling there is power? Because there's nothing at all.
  8. Got it last night for computer, but for ps4 it was just grab the copy and you got game plus expansion, now for the pc box it says expansion but I'm just wondering if they updated it to full game or if I will need to go buy the base game.
  9. I have all of them in but still, literally nothing happens when I push the power button, the power supply is plugged in and was flicked on and still nothing
  10. I was just trying to see if it will at least power up, do I need those all plugged in to have the pc turn on?
  11. I just moved my parts from my older case to my newer core 2300 and now it won't start up at all. I5 3470 no over clock Hyper 212 evo 12gb ddr3 hyperx ram Fractal design 2300 Gtx 980 amp 625w ex2 cooler master power supply Msi zh77a-g43 motherboard I don't know really what to try since I looked over and made sure that everything was connected and such, but I'll appreciate any help.
  12. OK thanks, I just thought maybe the cpu would limit the 980 to the point where the 1060 with 3gb would be better.
  13. I have 300 left, and in Canada the 6gb version costs about 80 dollars more. and the rx 480 is 100 dollars more.
  14. I have an older i5 3470, and I'm doing a build for a friend, I have the option to get him either a gtx 980 amp by zotac or a 1060 3gb card. I just don't know what to choose, I don't want the 980 to be held toooo far back with the older i5, but at the same time I don't know what card performs better. Specs: i5 3470 3.2ghz 12gb ddr3 1600mhz currently a gtx 760. 625w thermaltake psu
