I'm pretty sure ATI abandoned it, last time I heard of SFR is with the X1900 series. It caused problems like screen tearing due to the varying FPS of each GPU(since the top GPU does less work than the bottom GPU).

I had mega failure after mega failure with AMD ASUS boards but i'm going ASUS for my Skylake rig... what i mean to say is.. it's all a load of BS that certain brands are more reliable...

Heeeeeeeey, this would be perfect for FSX.

Back in the early bf3 days, you could attach a laser designator to the scout heli. This would designate anything that you looked at, resulting in 2-3x damage using lock on weapons. What made this even more unbalanced, is that if you were to use the designator along with the ground attack missile, you had more range then the heatseekers, and it was a one hit KO on any flying vech. The Ground attack missile would also ignore flares and smoke 50% of the time, and you had 2 of them! I had games where I would go 50+ to like 5 deaths

Not a fan of the feature either, glad it's resolved on skylake, it had one advantage of putting little stress on the mobo while overclocking allowing good results on almost any motherboard, but the truth is, it doesn't matter that much

If you are really concerned about great wifi you should take a look at the Asus z170 deluxe, heard nothing but great comments about the new wifi system on that mobo from newegg tv, teksyndicate and others. Probably a lot more expensive though.

They matter for Skylake, VRM's are no longer on the CPU, and BCLK OC's are now viable.

Hyper-Threading helps a lot more than you know. Right now, an i3 and an i5 are within 3-5FPS in most titles, with a smaller gap in a lot of them. Overclocking an i3 would supplant an i5 easy, you can even do the testing if you have an i7 since you can disable cores and threads on an i7. I could run my chip as a dual core, quad thread chip if I wanted to and match the clockspeeds to any Haswell i3 on the market and my performance would be within a margin of error the same.

It would cannibalize the i5 lineup. Near i5 performance at an i3 price, Intel aren't looking to lose a lot of money here. The G3258 was fine because it was a shit chip to start with, so overclocking is like putting whipped cream and a cherry on top of shit.

Done, buying the Gainward.
