    Extension Cord repair

I am just going to say screw it. It's near the end so I will put a new end on it and use it for cutting tools and get a new cord later for all other uses. That way if it gets cut again I don't give two $#its.

    Extension Cord repair

3x14 awg, 100 ft. There are times where the 100 ft. made my day easier and less of a head ache. I have used it for everything from power tools/vacuums to refrigerators on a generator and engine starters for dead batteries. I'd like to keep it 100ft. if possible and water tight. https://m.lowes.com/pd/Utilitech-Pro-100-ft-14-AWG-3-SJTW-13-Amps-Lighted-Extension-Cord/3191693 Maybe I was off $15 bucks, but I just spent a shed load on a welding machine and am broke.

    Extension Cord repair

I nicked my extension cord with my angle grinder today. What is the best way to repair it with out replacing a $75+ cord? Water tight is needed.
  4. 13 credit hours, at least 7 hours of volunteering weekly, 15 hour work week for Job #1, 15-20 hour work week for Job #2, church, and papers.

Can someone smack me upside the head?

I have been making slow progress, though.

  5. I forgot to mention (I just added it) that I ran memtests and they come out fine. How would I know if the voltages and timings are the issue and how do I go about fixing it without making magic smoke?
  6. I have two separate RAM kits [(2x8)x2] of HyperX black and white 1600mhz. Both work great by themselves overclocked at 2000 mhz., but when put together I get BSODs almost everyday. I finally took each kit out and am running them separate to double check it is not the white kit (it is the "newest" kit) that is causing the issue. What are your thoughts? Could it be voltage? FYI I have put these kits through memtests and they come out just fine.

    3D Printing Plastics

The GPU will be watercooled, I would use those metal mounts but they take up all the slots, and I use at least two others. Thank you for the thoughts. I will take the precautions into thought.

    3D Printing Plastics

Okay. I was looking at making a vertical gpu mount. My university has 3-D printing available to students.

    3D Printing Plastics

Is the plastic that is used in 3-D printers pliable? For example, I want to design a mount that use push in clips that can be pinched to unclip.

    Grommets for Case

When I measured it, it was 1 3/8ths"

    Grommets for Case

Would any round grommet fit my CM HAF XB EVO where the pre-punched tube holes are? Do I need to pay attention to a specific size? I am new to grommets.

Sell GTX 980 for Fury X or Nano

How long do you feel it will last in terms of 1080p? 60fps is not required.

Sell GTX 980 for Fury X or Nano

@OrbitalBuzzsaw, and @handymanshandle, Is the Fury X worth $250? I was able to get about $155 for the 980. That is after fees and such from ebay.
  15. Intel/Microsoft refuses to install the graphics driver for my i5 4690k, saying the hardware is not supported then when I try again on "recommended" settings it says the operating system is not supported. How can I get it installed as I will need to use my integrated graphics while I wait on my "new" gpu to come in while my old one gets shipped out. Thanks for your help. My dedicated graphics is installed and being used. Should I not have it installed?
