I don't even have an SSD, and I think it would really benefit my system performance and overall quality.

I did. But had the 980ti already came out, I would have still chose this card as I am using it to run 3D physics simulations at very high resolutions. But had it just been for gaming then I would have waited and more than likely put in a 980ti.
