I don't know if this is related, but I had a similar problem when mining with Nicehash. When not using my PC I mine and this obviously puts a lot of load on the GPU.

When I am mining this problems occurs but when I am not mining it does not so I think it just has something to do with GPU load. Then again I could be totally wrong.

There's pretty much nothing else running in the background, just discord so I doubt this would be the issue.

  2. Recently I purchased an ROG Zephyrus G14 and it's been a great laptop so far however I have a weird problem where when it's running off the Radeon iGPU, the video will eventually lag 2-3 seconds behind the audio. This doesn't seem to happen when the 3060 is active. I've tried reinstalling audio drivers, radeon drivers, and tweaking a bunch of settings within the sound control panel and I'm not sure how to proceed now.

If not being able to kill it is important, and sound massively isn't, the Sennheiser Urbanites aren't bad.

They're not amazing sounding or anything, but they felt pretty well made.

Gave mine away to my niece after I used them for a year or so in Uni, though I haven't seen her in like 3 years

so I have no idea if they're still around.

They're a bit old, so they're not expensive either.

Anything that sounds the same or better than my M40X's. Are the XL's similar in quality? I don't like on-ears much.

  4. Hey everyone, I'm looking to pick up a new pair of headphones as my ATH-M40X's hinge is broken and currently held together with electrical tape. I'm looking for some nice quality headphones that I can throw in my bag without worrying about the hinges breaking like my M40X's did. Anything around or less than $200 would be nice, I'm not super into audio stuff so anything that sounds decent is fine.

  5. It doesn't seem like this board supports the ability to update the bios without a CPU, the earliest version that supports the 5000 series is version 7C36v1B which released on November 11th. It likely didn't ship with that version. I've heard of some manufacturers shipping out "BIOS update kits" that include the necessary components to update the BIOS so that may be worth looking into. Otherwise just pick up a cheap 2000 series chip (your motherboard also seems to support certain 1000 series chips too https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/PRESTIGE-X570-CREATION#support-cpu)

I have an AMD 3700x with gigabyte aorus x570 and asus strix 1070 want to upgrade to the 3070 or 3080 and 16gb of ram as for a buget around 400 anything that is better then my current 60hz

I'm currently using the Gigabyte G32QC 32inch 1440p 165hz monitor and it's pretty good. Though 32 inches is quite big, LG's 27GL83A-B is a 27inch 1440p 144hz IPS which would also be a great choice.
