I bought the Pro 4.

I also have the budget for a Pro 4 but it seems really large so I'd like to just get the 4

Recently got a 3600, it doesn't run hot but I'd like it to be a bit quieter. So would a dark rock pro 4 cool it quite a bit better than my current H7?

So it isn't really anything to worry about?

My Ryzen 5 3600 came in on Tuesday and it's been running in the 60-70c range on my Cryorig H7. My graphics card also runs at around 77ish c. If I remove the front panel from my case they do drop a bit (low 60s on cpu, mid 70s on GPU) (These when were recorded while playing a game that's relatively taxing on cpu and gpu) Are these temps bad? I've only had this case for a couple months but I'm considering getting a new one just because the airflow seems so bad in my current one. I've also replaced the thermal paste on the cpu this week but it was done with the case vertically so maybe I just had 2 bad applications?

So I lost my tube of thermal paste and scaped off and used the paste on the stock cooler. It's running in the 50s-60s under load. Will I this be fine to run until a new syringe of thermal paste is shipped?

From what I can see people weren't insulting your rig, and I can't find the 1050 guy you were talking about either. They were calling you out for spamming the image on r/pcmr. windows defender how do I know where it is in the event viewer

I've currently got a R5 1600 and MSI B350 PC Mate, MSI is apparently going to be releasing a bios update to support Ryzen 3000 series CPUs so I was wondering if I should even buy a new motherboard. So would buying a newer B450 board be worthwhile? I'll probably end up using my current board with it for a week or so until I can afford to buy a new board if I do end up getting one.

That sounds like either a bad windows installation or a faulty/dying hard drive. That laptop is plenty powerful enough to handle playing games. If reinstalling windows doesn't work try contacting asus.
