Are you still looking for help with this?

Turning off just means the card won't be put in ULPS when not in use. I would leave it on as you won't see a performance boost or anything

Hello! I have this website that's a bit dated its all written in ASP (Which is not my strong suit) A big part of this website is done in Flash/Silverlight (believe me I know...) however I need to get the site working enough to show the content to a couple people. Currently, when you go to the flash page it asks if you want to allow Flash to run. when I click to allow the page goes black and no content appears. this only happened after I received the website. when it was hosted elsewhere it seemed to at least load this page. What config could be doing that? Here is the main Index.html for that page : I don't see anything that stands out as being misconfigured. but like I said ASP is something I rarely deal with. index1.html

I would go with this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0722XPTL6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (I just order one have not tested will be here today) Seems to have slightly better performance at the 120gb level. note that the more capacity an SSD has the faster it is mainly when comparing 128gb to 240gb. Its like RAID 0 in a way.

Yes, I believe so. I have had to something simmer to get some services back up.

Hello, My Tech friends. I have not one but two Norco RPC 4224`s each holding 24 drives (In the hot swap bays) and I want to completely fill one and put about 8 drives in the other. They need to be enterprise drives, however, I don't need SAS 12gb, SAS 6gb or SATA will work for my needs. Plus my HBA and backplane are 6gbs anyways. it won't make a lot of sense and it would cost a lot of cents. lol as usual, I went to our future ruler Amazon and had them send me a quote this is what they sent: Which is terrible if you price the drives alone its only $6240 However, I was hoping to get a bulk order discount. Even if I have to order more drives. I am not married to the 7E8/EXOS this is what im looking for in a drive: Enterprise-grade rated for 24/7 3/5 Year warranty 8TB (seems to be the most cost effective) SAS or SATA Reliable If you have any links or know of any discounts/deals I would greatly appreciate it!

After determining that we needed the recovery as it was too risky/slow to play around with it anymore. I took it to a data recovery center where it was expected to cost $4,000 someone on the client’s side said “let me check one last system we have” and boom all 8TB they needed. I was lucky, to be fast enough to stop the Data Recovery before it ended up costing us anything. Im sure they have learned their lesson and I will set them up with a proper FreeNAS box (ill make another thread for that soon) Now that the data is safe I want to try reinitializing with just the built-in tools to see if that would work. Just for fun obviously

Of course, What ill probably end up doing regardless is filling up my Norco server with 8 8TBs once decide hardware. but I would first use those drive for 1 to 1 images rather than 8.img files (also since i plan to have 1 or more parity disk in FreeNAS i would not have space)

I agree the only things I want to try are ones that should have no effect on the data. I talked to the guys that recovered Linus's array. and they said the array should be fine its pulling it up that's an issue. if all else fails they can repair it remotely for $5,000

Can am2 cpus be used in am2+ sockets
Mbarton replied to Sir Lags A Lot's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Like @Crunchy Dragon said its backward compatible (within the same socket lineup) but sometimes not forwards. I have had am3 CPU working on am3+ but it would not work the other way around. and then had another chip and it did. By the way, AM3+ systems are cheap! if you can get yourself a 9590 for 100, and a decent mobo fun little system puts out some heat tho! -
Hey Guys! Heres a video I made describing the issue (sorry for the background noise shot this on my s9 near my servers): https://drive.google.com/open?id=1hyC9AE1NJIL8OhOEsNvmUhT8vepLzKyr I have an issue over here, a client sent me this "Highpoint Rocketstor 6618a" Thunderbolt raid enclosure to handle some data on it. well, it turns out it's having an issue with the array. it's simply not detecting it. since its running on thunderbolt, the only thing I have that can read it was a mac book pro. I then had them send me the original system it was running on, this mac desktop "trash can" hoping that the raid software would just pick it up, no go... the High point website is pretty useless. and even tho they offer a firmware that supports 10.13 the raid management software does not specify that it does. im thinking a good solution would be to take put them all into my nocro server and recovery the array in Ubuntu. I would need some pointers on that. (Can testdisk read a raid array? ) System INFO: Highpoint Rocketstor 6618a type C thunderbolt Raid 0 8x 8TB WD Reds - 64TB Total Apple - Mac Pro Desktop Computer Here is what I have tried: Loading Ubuntu and installing mdadm (it is not a software raid so not too surprising that did not work) Updating the firmware on the high point from EFI 1.1 to 1.2. its supposed to fix compatible with mac os 10.13 Using a Mac book pro with osx 10.11 Using a Mac desktop with osx 10.13 The data on here is crucial! And has to be preserved at any cost! If you need more details just let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
