  1. Hi, I'm having an issue with my Dell Inspiron 580 where it only 2 out of 4gb of ram, Windows 10 is very laggy now with over 80% of ram usage PC specs: Dell Inspiron 580 Intel core i5 760 4gb ddr3 ram(came with dell) - 1333mhz 1tb HDD Nvidia gt220 cooler master 400w PSU( the original PSU died) windows 10 1903 troubleshooting steps that I have tried - reseating both rams - try 1 ram by 1 ram - try using slot1 and 2 on the motherboard to see if it's the slot issue - tried slot 3 and 4 - no post- 2 beep -ran built-in diagnostic( motherboard and windows) - no error found
  2. Reinstalling the driver doesn’t work, it would give the same error( at least from reinstalling from device manager)
  3. Hi I’m having this issue where all of the network adapter on my laptop isn’t working, did a network reset which didn’t work
  4. Didn’t do that actually, since it’s set to quick removal and was kind of in a hurry so I just removed the pen drive without using safety eject 1st
  5. Hi, I've been noticing lately that when I abruptly remove my Kingston DT101G2 from my laptop USB port, my laptop would GSOD(BSOD), the setting for removal were set to its default( Quick removal). As far as I can tell, this issue seems to be occurring on this specific Pendrive(Kingston DT101G2). Oddly, in device manager, the Kingston DT101G2 shows up as "USB device " instead of mentioning anything about Kingston with hardware IDs not mentioning about Kingston. Left window: Kingston DT101G2 Right window: Kingston DT109 Both of the pen drives were from a similar era
  6. Nope, I ended up settling on Xiaomi.eu Rom since I find that the stock rom is missing some features that I was used to before unlocking the phone would be be good to know how to restore( to stock )and lock the bootloader
  7. I’ve just got a BSOD when I remove my pen drive without doing safety eject Guessing the issue is very random as I can’t reproduce it now
  8. I actually wonder what does this means link: https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2019/03/20/announcing-windows-10-insider-preview-build-18362/
  9. I've just tried it, lost the click sound in for one of the switches in the process....... seems harder to click too but no big deal since I've replaced the mouse with a better mouse from Logitech when the old mouse is having the issue.... hoping the new one doesn't have this issue, apparently Logitech wireless unifying mouse got more expensive starting from around RM200 ++ when my old one cost rm 60
  10. I had this issue too with 2 mouse at my house ..... ended up trashing( as if kept them - collecting dust ) them since I thought that the mouse is broken.... but it I wonder how to open the mouse to clean it up
  11. ASUS x550cc pc specs intel 3337u samsung 500gb ssd 12gb ram nvidia gt 720m intel HD graphics 4000
  12. Hi, I was wondering if disabling the dgpu( Nvidia gt 720m) would save battery life ( increase runtime ) on my laptop
  13. Oddly it fixed itself, probably it’s just a temporary issue
  14. Hi, Is anyone facing this issue where Microsoft edge wouldn't update? Disabled firewall and still the same issue
  15. Yup I guess Microsoft should make it clearer(it might actually pull the error from the logs ) and since my SD card reader on my laptop is from Realtek I guess it won’t be accurate since it’s still a known issue. Apparently that also seems like it’s affecting the some surface devices as well, workaround is to remove the SD card before clicking the install/update button(for the feature update)
  16. so regarding about the upgrade block issue, I've contacted Microsoft on their forum and ran their appraiser PowerShell script and here the result the PowerShell script which I find very weird( and yes, I did reassign drive letter after I reinstalled windows- between DVD drive and SD card) Update: Turns out disconnecting my SD card allows me to update to the release preview build
  17. I've actually reinstalled almost all my software, Files on the desktop already exist since the files are stored on the D : drive, some icon on the desktop doesn't show any logo since I didn't reinstall them edit: regarding about the Nvidia Optimus technology, apparently the GPU supports it but as far as I recalled, it's not enabled due to "not supported" message
  18. the cmd.exe part, I asked for admin, if you looked closely, it says unknown publisher The Nvidia Part, I'm currently using is from windows updates( both Nvidia and Intel), the Nvidia driver won't work because " unsupported GPU error", don't remember it supporting Nvidia Optimus No idea why mmc.exe is blocked even though I'm logged into as admin user and on windows 10 home by the way windows was clean installed 2 days ago
  19. the problem happened again(screen in high contrast, this also happened in windows 10 1809), not sure if you can see the issue though. This time it was able to reboot without GSOD Phone upload
  20. the only issue is the time bomb is ticking
  21. I think Microsoft used to tell you what driver/hardware/software that is causing the upgraded block ( something like the picture below ) Both GPU used to work in windows 10 properly
  22. I've just did a clean install via the windows insider advance iso, this time using windows update for all my GPU driver instead when I try to update to the release preview build, I got an error
  23. where can I dig through the logs to find the information that I need, reverting isn't an option since I've been using it for months(unless I do a clean install) current video driver intel hd graphics 4000- latest version nvidia gt720m - win7(ASUS version) - this version was installed due to issues with win8+ drivers( including the latest version for windows 10) - this laptop comes preloaded with windows 8 If you do mean dmp file, you may refer to it below 15-4-2019.html 041519-9343-01.dmp
  24. Hi, My laptop for some reason GSOD while rebooting. Before I was restarting, the screen looks like as if it has high contrast enabled ( this happened on standard 1809 as well) Windows version: Windows 10 1903 release preview ring CPU: Intel 3337U Laptop: Asus x550cc GPU: Intel HD graphics 4000, Nvidia Geforce 720M Ram: 12 GB DDR3 Storage: Samsung 850 evo 500GB minidump files 041519-9343-01.dmp Performance monitor 15-4-2019.html
  25. Windows 10 1903( release preview ring ) just GSOD on my laptop while restarting the screen looks weird before restarting( looks like as if it has high contrast applied to it )
