Just finished building the most transparent pc I could build with just using basic tools. No cnc or laser. Some metal bars and some 2mm plexiglass. The goal was to see everything inside working and give it best airflow possible while keeping it water splash proof. I flipped the backside of the motherboard upwards so I don't have to be with limited front panel setup. Also it allowed me to have two different front so I can take fresh air for both cpu aio and gpu. And as a bonus I got rid of the gpu sagging issue. Before in a cooler master case 3090 gpu vram temp was reaching 105, now it's 90. Was on a tight budget, so had to use leftover plexiglass from another project, that's why so many joints. Also reused 2 fan from dead psu. Hope you guys like it. VID-20230618-WA0015.mp4

Hello, I am planning to buy Asus g751jt (GTX 970m) for 3d modeling, rendering and animation in 3ds max. Is anyone using this laptop or similar one for the same purpose? Please let me know how good/bad it is in viewport and rendering etc. Thanks

Thanks. But I am concerned about the gpu. Will 970m give same performance for 3ds max as quadro K1100M? And I am also concerned about the quality. I live in Bangladesh and buying the laptop from uae. So I can check after buying but can't use the warranty once I bring it to my country. So I am wondering how many days/years will it last without needing any kind of repair.

I ended up picking The Crew since I have the other two for console) Cons: Shadowplay + Steam button in horrible positioning (Right above esc so you can click them by an accident a lot of the time) Can I use this one for 3d modeling and animation (3ds max )? Workstation laptop are too pricey.

Hello I am currently planning to buy a new laptop but having trouble deciding which one is better. On my budget I can get either a high performance gaming laptop or a entry level workstation laptop. I mostly work in 3ds max, revit, autocad(architectural modeling ) . But I like gaming too. Assassin's Creed is awesome. While working I need gpu power for viewport and cpu power for render. I am looking for one of these two Asus g751jt (970m/4710hq) - - - Dell Precision M3800 (quadro K1100M / 4710hq ). I am wondering if I get the Asus will I get same performance for 3d modeling as the Dell Precision. Please describe in technical terms if possible Thanks in advance.
