  1. I just ran memtest and it finally finished and said I had 0 errors.
  2. Yea i used diskpart then clean. I used disk management in windows to initialize the disk then i cloned it but it failed
  3. I can't remember what setting it was on before, but right now my SATA mode is on AHCI. My only options are AHCI and RAID. Should i set it to RAID?
  4. Gimme one sec i can reboot and check.
  5. So yesterday I cloned my hard drive and everything went fine but I wanted to update my GPU driver since one of my games kept crashing so I downloaded it and restarted my pc then i got a BSOD for like a quarter of a second then a black screen. (I couldn't read the error message). Then I put an installation media on a usb then went to the command prompt and cleared it and cloned it again and it cloned fine, but when i went to boot off the drive i got another BSOD saying BAD SYSTEM CONFIG INFO. I again tried to clean it using command prompt and did so but I am unable to clone the hard drive because it gives me an error that the disk is not found. Help! Specs: Windows 8.1, 64x Windows 8.1 was originally installed on the system, OEM All components are new except Seagate 1 tb which is working fine Haven't reinstalled OS on new hard drive Cpu: Intel I5 6500 Gpu: Gigabye AMD r9 380 Motherboard: Asus gaming H170 Psu: EVGA bronze 600w HDD(s): Working one my old hard drive (seagate 1 tb) and the one that has BSOD is WD black 2 tb P.S It may seem like my new hard drive just has an issue, but i got it a couple months back and I was using it fine for a while. The reason I have to transfer it again was because I was trying to install a new OS a while ago on it but failed and just left it until i needed the space (which is now after steam summer sale, lol).
  6. Phanteks Enthoo Pro M, can it fit a full ATX motherboard, more specifically this is the one im looking at: http://www.amazon.ca/MSI-DDR3-Motherboards-Z97-GAMING/dp/B00K8KPXUO/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1451852603&sr=8-3&keywords=motherboard
  7. Yea i know but i just want to have a better cpu for now so when i get my next gpu i can still use the same one
  8. Will that do anything bad though? How does it affect gaming?
  9. Am i really going to bottleneck? I have a fx 6300 not overlocked at all and its barely bottlenecking/not at all and i will be overclocking the 4690k
  10. Hi guys, I recently purchased a new gpu, the gigabyte r9 380 windforce 2gb and i'm looking for a mid range processor and motherboard. This is what i am thinking of buying: i5 4690k and an MSI ATX DDR3 2600 LGA1150 z97 5 motherboard with a hyper 212 evo. http://www.amazon.ca/Intel-i5-4690K-Processor-Cache-FC-LGA12C/dp/B00KPRWB9G/ref=pd_bxgy_147_img_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=0WX3943QG6JA3DNN3TKR http://www.amazon.ca/MSI-DDR3-Motherboards-Z97-GAMING/dp/B00K8KPXUO/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1449800140&sr=8-3&keywords=motherboard They look to be in my price range and seem to offer pretty good gaming performance. I am pretty sure they are the same socket type and they are compatible, but I just want to make sure my case can fit a full atx board. My case: http://phanteks.com/Enthoo-Pro-M.html Also, any recommendations for RAM sticks for my motherboard?
  11. I am thinking of just buying two of these, they aren't really much more expensive than 120mm and they are 140 and have pretty good reviews. Do you think air flow would be good enough if i put two of these at the front, or even one at the front and one on the top? http://www.amazon.ca/Premium-Quality-Cooling-NF-A14-FLX/dp/B00AEGRGNO/ref=pd_sim_147_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=4102eRIidXL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR128%2C160_&refRID=02FV974D87AMAPR3A65Q
  12. I recently upgraded my gpu to an amd r9 380 and its running very hot (over 90 degrees under load) so im getting a new case. The one i think im going to get: http://www.amazon.ca/Phanteks-Enthoo-Tower-Chassis-PH-ES515P_BK/dp/B011A2LWZI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1448131979&sr=8-1&keywords=PH-ES515P_BK I can fit two 140mm or 3x 120mm at the front, 1x 140 mm (which comes with the case) at the back, and two 140mm at the top or 3x 120mm. I am just wondering what a good fan setup would be and what fans you would recommend. I'm shopping from Canada, so here are some i am currently looking at, thoughts? http://www.amazon.ca/Premium-Quality-Cooling-NF-A14-FLX/dp/B00AEGRGNO/ref=pd_sim_147_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=4102eRIidXL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR128%2C160_&refRID=02FV974D87AMAPR3A65Q http://www.amazon.ca/Bearing-Cooling-NF-P14s-Redux-1500-PWM/dp/B00KF7O58G/ref=pd_bxgy_147_img_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=0D8PW3EBWFE9P8HFCGXR http://www.amazon.ca/Noctua-NF-F12-PWM-Cooling-Fan/dp/B00650P2ZC/ref=pd_cp_147_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=0EF5SV4FV4W1Y5MZ8JBJ
  13. I'm not really planning on watercooling. What's your opinion on these noctua fans? http://www.amazon.ca/Bearing-Cooling-NF-P14r-Redux-1500-PWM/dp/B00KF7QO2G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1448132090&sr=8-1&keywords=Noctua+Fan+NF-P14R+REDUX-1500+PWM http://www.amazon.ca/Bearing-Cooling-NF-P14s-Redux-1500-PWM/dp/B00KF7O58G/ref=pd_bxgy_147_img_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=0R3D3NCNGAPABGZANCWD They are on sale right now, if they work good ill buy them http://www.amazon.ca/Noctua-NF-F12-PWM-Cooling-Fan/dp/B00650P2ZC/ref=pd_cp_147_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=0EF5SV4FV4W1Y5MZ8JBJ The last one is on a good sale and looks higher quality http://www.amazon.ca/Premium-Quality-Cooling-NF-A14-FLX/dp/B00AEGRGNO/ref=pd_sim_147_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=4102eRIidXL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR128%2C160_&refRID=02FV974D87AMAPR3A65Q good 140 mm fan i think
  14. Okay yea i like the enthoo a lot more. What fans do you recommend i buy and where do i put them?
  15. So i recently got a new gpu, the gigabyte r9 380 and it is running really hot (90 degrees celsius under load) so i am going to get a new case: http://www.ncix.com/detail/corsair-carbide-series-spec-01-red-f6-95572.htm (If you scroll down on the page you can see exactly where the fans can be mounted) Now i am just wondering what you guys would recommend for a fan setup, which fans and where, and static pressure or airflow?
