  1. Hello, so which of this two monitors should I buy? AOC C24G1, 199€ or Samsung C24FG73, 249€ Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!
  2. So will the resell value of my 970... No money to spend on upgrades really.
  3. So, I have a Dell U2515H, great monitor, really really excelent. But my GPU (GTX 970) is starting to not like this resolution in recent games, so I'm thinking on downgrading to 1080p. I know, I should just update my gpu, but thats very expensive right now and I can sell my Dell monitor for almost the same price that I bought it (around 260€). I bought the Dell because I wanted great picture quality, I had a TN 144hz monitor and it was horrible, but I miss 144hz, but I don't want to loose the majority of the picture quality, so I found VA 144hz monitors that offer better quality than TN and are a bit worse than IPS, but I can deal with it. Found this two monitors: Samsung CFG73 for 250€ AOC C24G1 200€ Which one should I choose and why? Any help/opinions are welcome! Thanks!
  4. Corsair for 115$ and Seasonic for 140$, which to buy?
  5. Mark 1 for 200euros and Mark 2 for 157euros. Which one should I buy?? My z170 gaming m3 from msi fried, went to RMA, they gave me the money back in a voucher, and I have to buy a new one. I wanted one from the TUF series cause of durability, but here is the LIst of mobos the store has in case someone can recomend a better deal! Link I have a 6700k. Thanks
  6. Only the Seasonic! The 650w model, but for 10$ more. Sure I can afford it, thing is if it is worth the money I'll spend, will it increase stability?
  7. Should I upgrade my XFX TS 550W Bronze to a Corsair RM650x? My PC is: i7 6700k(very recently upgraded from a 6600k) at 4.4ghz at least, gtx 970, 16gb ram, 1 ssd, 1 hdd, fractal define c. I wanted to change PSU, to get a more silent build, because I only hear the PSU fan. But is it worth the upgrade in terms of quality and price? Rm650x costs 110$, and I can sell my XFX for 30-40$.
  8. Noctua thermal paste wouldnt be enough?
  9. Good quality thermal paste could make the laptop handle 35w tdp?
  10. Completly agree! In this case, both processors I refereed are cheap, quad core costing 15$, dual core costing 12$. This two are the msot powerfull for the TDP of 25W, and the doubt comes from choosing between lesser cores more frequency, or more cores lesser frequency!
  11. I'm asking beetween those two, if I should go 4 cores 1.8Ghz or 2 cores 2.6Ghz. I woul put a better one, but has higher TDP, and the laptop might not handle the heat!
  12. I have an old laptop that has a crappy amd cpu V120 1 core only. I want to make it usable, it already has 4GB ram(upgraded from 2), a 60GB ssd and works fine. I've researched and I can replace the cpu for any of that socket with a TDP of 25W. So I've narrowed to this two: Phenom II x4 P960 1.8Ghz quad core and a Phenm II x2 P650 2.6Ghz Dual Core, both have the same L2 cache of 2MB, but the quad core has 256KB (code) and 256KB (data) L1 cache and the dual core has half of that. Which one should I buy to replace? PS: No need for recommendations to buy another computer, thanks.
  13. But I put my hand on th back of the PSU, and I can feel pretty much fresh air... The spacing for the PSU to breath is a little less, but It is on top of a table so no reason for it to ramp up, I'm getting worried that It might be dying and I have to replace it
  14. I dont think so, I went from 6 rubish fans to 3 fractal gp 12 so...
  15. Today I changed my PC case to a Fractal Define C, it all went fine, but later tonight I started noticing that my XFX TS 550W PSU fan is spinning faster... I checked every fan, did the cardboard tube thing, it comes from the PSU (CPU fan stopped, case fans stopped, GPU fans stopped, still making the sound, kinda windy faster noise). PSU fan facing down. What should I do?
  16. Wrong about what? Could you be more specific? I meant the G2, never used, and never saw the G1, so my statement, yes it was wrong about the G1
  17. As much as I respect your opinion, I can't take you seriously when you say you prefer a Corsair CX to an EVGA G1, I meant the G2 series, that was the one I used, but nevertheless, I find it strange that preference. But it's all good, competition for everyone
  18. I understand your point perfectly, but just based in the simple tier list, you can conclude that xfx and seasonic s12ii are better, being tier 2 vs CX and CXM tier 3. In the end, I always prefeer EVGAs G1 series, and higher end stuff, so its all good. I just dont like corsair being so mainstream and offering (sometimes) bad quality for high price here in my country, being 100% honest.
  19. In my country they are the same price, thats why I choose the TS! Seasonic ones are even cheaper
  20. Now OP will go for the CXM, oh well. I tried Of course it is worth upgrade, its arround the same price. You dont cheap out on PSU There wont be a day when the CX series, being crap, will stop being put on high end builds
