  1. At that test, the processor and memory is not overclocked (clock is 3500MHz, and RAM is running at a standard 2133MHz). The computer usually blue screens about every 2 hours or so. Thanks for the quick reply!
  2. Hi Guys! I am getting nearly 15000 errors in memtest86 and the computer also bluescreens repeatedly, even when not overclocked. I use this computer as a workstation and I find this is really irritating. I wonder if the RAM causes all these blue screens. I use an Intel Core i5-6600K, ASRock Z170 Extreme4, and 16GB (2*8GB) DDR4-2133 Avexir Core.
  3. Any thoughts about the Team L3 EVO, Intel 540s? Other SSD recommendations?
  4. I'm considering a Corsair Force LE or Samsung 850 EVO or an Intel 540s (expensive but I love Intel's warranty, they replaced my 320 Series SSD when it died after 4 years. Amzing) or a Team L3 EVO (cheaper that doesn't perform that bad). Not sure if my local store sells Crucial, Toshiba, OCZ, Patriot or other brands.
  5. I'm considering a 500GB SSD (250GB for me isn't enough to store programs, documents, games and video project files). However, in Premiere Pro and After Effects, what should I consider in an SSD? IOPS, 4K Random Read/Write, or Sequential Read/Write speeds?
  6. I've tried using CUDA. It doesn't lag as much as it used to. However, can an SSD make a difference? The disk usage is somewhat high during editing. Also, I use After Effects project files on Premiere Pro, so does this cause more lag?
  7. Hi Guys. I really need to have realtime playback in Adobe Premiere Pro in my laptop so that i don't have to export videos everytime I want to see them, especially when I have to show it to clients. Usually, many frames are dropped so the video lags awfully and it's annoying. Do you guys have any solution to this? Do I need to change my hard drive to an SSD? Is the CPU/GPU not powerful enough to handle Premiere? Laptop Specs: ASUS X550JX-xx031d Intel Core i7-4720HQ 12GB (4GB Soldered and 8GB Corsair) DDR3L-1600 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M 2GB DDR3 And a Toshiba 1TB hard drive (this might be the problem) Windows 10 64bit Thanks in advance.
  8. My friend and I are from Indonesia, and he is going to Japan for university, and PC parts here in Indonesia aren't that cheap either.
  9. Hi Guys! So, a friend of mine is going to Tokyo, Japan for college, and is considering to upgrade his PC there. Are there any retailers that sell PC components (like graphics cards, processors, memory, etc) there? If so, do they have websites? physical stores? Thank You.
  10. Haven't thought of that. I'll try it when the SSD is repaired. But, what about the remaining adhesive from the duct tape? and the soft touch coating in the top panel of the case?
  11. Yeah... I couldn't find cloth or anything to clean it. But at least the exterior will be wiped and cleaned when it's working.
  12. Thanks! The power supply didn't come with braided/sleeved cables, so they are flat and a bit stiff, making cable management slightly harder.
  13. Hi So a few months back my PC had stopped working and the motherboard had died, especially the memory controller and the memory slots. It was a GIGABYTE X58A-UD3R, and even for today's standards, it is still powerful. Used X58 boards are overpriced so I moved on to Skylake, Parts Used: Intel Core i7-950 now Intel Core i5-6600K GIGABYTE X58A-UD3R rev2 now ASRock Z170 Extreme4 Hynix 12GB (3*4GB) DDR3-1333 now Avexir Core 16GB (2*8GB) DDR4-2133 MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GD5T OC PCB rev1.1 Intel 520 Series 180GB 2.5" SSD 2*WD Caviar Green 1TB Blu-Ray Drive Corsair RM850 Cooler Master Storm Trooper Window Watercooling EK Supreme LTX Copper Plexi now EK Supremacy EVO Nickel Plexi EK Dual Bay Reservoir Laing D5T 810N EK CoolStream XTX240 MasterKleer 1/2x3/4 Tubing and EK PSC Fittings Cooler Master Xtraflo 120 red push/pull Case excluding new parts New Parts Assembly pics Leak Testing The build was going so well, but then... BIOS couldn't find the SSD, or Boot Drive. Because of this, I RMA'd my SSD and currently, it is being serviced in Malaysia. Should I wait for my SSD, buy a new one, or RAID my HDDs for boot drive? Thank you for stopping by!
  14. If you buy an SSD later, (and an SSD is usually used for a boot drive), I'm not really sure how to reinstall windows and still retain the same license in the SSD. Besides, most of the programs that is installed already will have to be reinstalled.
  15. Congratulations! You have won the Silicon Lottery! Time to push harder! (Until 1.3v)
