  1. I was just getting this stuff of my local website, www.pccasegear.com I was just looking at what they had. They did have some 27" monitors but they'd be too big for my liking.
  2. So this is probably only my second or third (not sure) time posting something on the forums but I thought I'd share what my dream PC would be. It's a gaming/editing rig. So, here it is. Parts; Case: Corsair Obsidian 900D - $440 PSU: Corsair AX1200i Digital ATX Modular Power Supply - $440 Motherboard: MSI Big Bang X-Power II - $450 CPU: Intel Core i7 4960X Extreme Edition - $1,210 Gaming GPU: Geforce GTX Titan (EVGA Superclocked model) - $1,300 Editing GPU: NVIDIA QUADRO K6000 - $4,040 RAM: G.Skill RipjawsZ F3-12800CL10Q2-64GBZL (64GB (8x8GB. Quad Channel) - $720 SSD: Corsair Neutron Series GTX 240GB SSD - $290 HDD: Seagate Enterprise Capacity 4TB (x2 or more) - $480 ($960 for 2) Optical Drive: ASUS BW-16D1HT-PRO 16x Blu Ray Burner - $120 Total: $9,970 Cooling; Custom Water Loop (parts TBD) - $? Other Stuff; Monitor: ASUS PA248Q 24in IPS LED Widescreen Monitor (x4 for NVIDIA 3D vision Surround (in 2D)) - $410 ($1,640 for 4) DVI Adaptor: Astrotek DisplayPort to DVI Adaptor - $30 Sound Card: Creative Sound Blaster Zx - $180 Speakers: Creative Inspire T6300 5.1 Surround Speaker System - $90 Total: $1,940 Grand Total: $11,910 All the prices are in AUD and rounded up to the nearest $10. Now, notice that under cooling, the parts are to be decided? That's where I need a bit of help. Can anyone tell me what I need? I'd have anything and everything water cooled (aside from HDD/SSD) if I can. I'm not afraid of the cost. After all, it is a DREAM PC. Also, if anyone else has a dream PC list, I'd like them to share it. It might give me some ideas.
  3. Very nice rig and amazing use of the Obsidian 900D. I made a list for my dream gaming/editing PC. I'll never be able to get it hence it being "dream" but it had the 900D as there's just so much you can do with it. Again, amazing build.
  4. Are these custom coloured? If so, how do you do it?
  5. This looks amazing! I just don't know what to say. This is just spectacular in every way!
  6. Thanks Elven. I've had a friend help me and your post has also helped me. My friend convinced me to go with AMD. Looks like I'm now a sucker for the red team. I'll be getting a 6 core AM3+ processor along with a Sapphire 7750 graphics card which may be upgraded in the future.
  7. I wasn't sure where to post this as it's about a processor and a graphics card but I'm having trouble choosing a processor and graphics card. I'm going to be doing a lot of video editing and I'll need something so I can still play games at a good FPS even while recording. For a graphics card, should I get AMD or nVidia? And for a processor, AMD or Intel?. So what do you think? I'm swaying towards AMD for the APU which I'm pretty sure will help with encoding videos but I've read that nVidia's Cuda cores help as well. Can anyone help?
  8. So.. I've: 1. Posted in this thread. 2. Tweeted, https://twitter.com/AidanG_123/status/340827618783936512 3. Posted to Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/aidan.gardnerr/posts/496878777067371 Let's hope I win!
  9. EPIC GIVEAWAY!! Hopefully we can get all the videos to an average of 100,000 views! Even 75,000. I wouldn't mind one of those gaming rigs. It'd be a MAJOR upgrade to what I currently have!
  10. This would be an awesome part for my new PC I'm building! My Twitter: https://twitter.com/AidanG_123 I also posted it on my Facebook but I've got my setting set to private so only my friends can see my posts.
