I run an Intel 330 120G SSD for boot drive and storing daily documents, programs and stuff, with a WD 1TB green for storing all the large files such as movies.
Installing Windows and Mac on two separate drives will be easier and much painless. If you want to install them on the same drive, you'll have to fight with the bootloader. Mind that AMD system are most likely not going to work, so make sure you have an Intel system.
FLOPS stands for floating-point operations per second, which is how many floating point, or real number, calculations can be done in one second. However clock is just something there in order to synchronize the CPU.
